I mean I would definitely say it should be a no contest or town just loses because I dont think thats how popcorn mafia is supposed to work

I checked a bit, and in Popcorny Redux Mafia won upon reaching parity.
But also: That game has different hosts and different win condition descriptions, so what happens now is a matter of “Do we adhere RAI or RAW?”
