Popcorn Mafia is an open setup created by Elmo and tweaked by Rainbowdash and Plessiez.
The variation modded by Syryana and backup modded by fferyllt is being used this game and can be found here

Rules:

  • Follow the Forum Game Rules.
  • Must meet the minimum of 10 posts every 24 hours or you will be replaced.

General Mechanics:

  • Before the game starts at Day 1, mafia must elect a townie to be the gunbearer during Night 0.
  • The gunbearer is always announced and confirmed as innocent.
  • The gunbearer can shoot publically by pinging the hosts along with “/shoot [@player]”
  • The gunbearer has deadline of 24 hours to shoot a player.
  • If the gunbearer does not shoot by deadline, they die and the mafia pick a new gunbearer.
  • If the gunbearer hits mafia, they keep the gun. If the gunbearer hits town, the gunbearer dies and the targeted townie becomes the new gunbearer.
  • The first time a goon is shot, the remaining scumteam has 24 hours to vengekill one non-gun-bearing player. During this time period, the thread will remain unlocked but no shots from the gunbearer will be registered. The gunbearer’s deadline will start as soon as the factional action is resolved. If they fail to select this kill is lost.
  • Alive mafia has access to daychat on Discord.
  • Do not talk after you are shot.
  • This game is nightless.
  • The character flavors are not alignment indicative

You must shoot with your newly acquired gun towards one of critters who are aligned as Mafia, you have 24 hours 2026-05-24T21:00:00Z→2026-05-25T21:00:00Z to make your decision, otherwise you’re out of the game from running out of time or shoot the wrong critter! I’d advisd agsinst shooting me because of two reasons.

:closed_umbrella: Clearly. Clearly. All of us should make reads on each other and then hippo should either shoot the reads that make the least sense (hoping to hit Mafia) or the reads that make the most most double triple most sense (hoping to give the gun to Smart Town).

ACE sounds villagery enough but please don’t say the latter since that’s telling him to shoot me basically. Remembers the last time I had the gun in a Popcorny game
