I don’t think anything you had done by that point was townie. I was going to see your justification and if I felt like it was valid, then perhaps you could be a villager, but otherwise I think you were just lying to try to make others townread you,
Ok. I’ll try to think about how i can condusively answer this overnight; i mean you can take my self-described towntell of me having fun (& not caring but also doing things); Im also not altogether convinced ypur logic works but i suppose it motivates things)
Nothing here would make me think, if I was in your position, that I was posting townie. In fact, I would hedge that I would’ve been suspicious for the first post being a little over explained. You claim to have been in a different headspace that I can’t really see much reasoning behind. It is consistent from your first post that you would be thinking about if you’re posting like town or not, but the way you approached it (compared to gummy especially) felt more performative and like it was a standard you’re trying to reach rather than it being genuine.
I could be wrong. After all, it’s only five posts. But this isn’t a good look.
most towny
io
gummy
chomps
soweli
daeron
zone
frost
leafia
least townie
not enough information
childe
neon
i don’t tend to make readlists because i’ve got a couple of guys rattling around in my head and we all disagree but this game is simple and slow enough that i think we’re mostly in agreement? treatment of io and leafia subject to change? i think wolfy everyone else is insisting she’s posted three times put her in not enough information. similarly i think io is extremely towny but someone back there is tinfoiling
It’s notable but perhaps not worth thinking about that Chomps called Soweli’s opener wolfy but never pushed it, as far as I’m aware.
It could be a partner with TMI covering their bases just as much as it could be a genuine thought that wasn’t really too important, or just wasn’t pursued for other reasons. After all, I think it’s clear I now am more suspicious of Soweli than Chomps — but I’m still not moving my vote just yet, which is a very similar situation.
I want to call it unpairing, for no real logical reason. These are are types of thoughts and reads that can make me save a game just as much as throw it.
I trust that I have the least knowledge on Leafia here, but I will say sometimes the 3-poster argument is valid. It really depends on the player’s style whether or not 3 posts is enough to read them, if you ask me.
Based on what you said earlier,
This seems worth pursuing, honestly, at least in theory.
I want to say a partner wouldn’t rib on their teammate this early, just like the earlier post I made, but this one has more substance behind it. I feel like you’ve actually got some venom behind this even though you’re not pushing it that loudly.
I think they’re probing extremely naturally without agenda.
Like they couldve pulled out whatever to retroactively justify a chomps vote OR get clout by publically “changing their mind” and chose not to do either
I think pushing someone for appearing lamist is valid, and your two communication styles clashed here wrt expectations for the interaction. I think it’s ~rand that you’re v/v tbh but i cant be sure
instead of say invoking LAMIST in the first place, trying to understand your headspace before openly sussing you and then not even voting you when you responded frankly sort of poorly (understandably. i also hate towncasing myself)
I haven’t given enough thought to the entire playerlist to give a read for everyone that I’m happy with.
I will clarify where I stand on those I have given enough thought to, however. I’m comfortable trusting Pandora and Gummy, meanwhile I’m suspicious of Soweli and Chomps.
I wouldn’t say I’m suspicious of Leafia per se, but based on what I’ve heard I’m trying to keep them in mind.
it could still happen. i think i presented it a little misleadingly. wolf leafia also gets heated, just heated in a different way, if that makes sense? She latches onto different things. In a sense it’s sort of worth upsetting her to reaction test but in a greater sense (i am her friend and i don’t like doing that) it’s not
This post is also pretty townie. I don’t think a wolf would bother thinking about the fact that I have no context and realize what the wording implied to someone like me. Or if mafia did consider that, it would be to try to mislead me.
This just kicks the can down the road if Pandora is mafia, which doesn’t make much sense to do here, I think.
town leafia is more doomery. wolf leafia is more agendaed and spammy. Town leafia makes fifteen posts about how she’s clearly town and we’re gonna lose because she’s being voted and she’s town. wolf leafia makes thirty extremely long posts arguing and filling thread until nothing can get done.
