How does this make sense? How can there be players who are so â=randâ that we would keep ignoring them? Does this mean that if I were to rand Mafia in the future, I can get away with anything by not playing the game?
Yes.
The long-term solution to fixing that is to policy until they start generating AI content to avoid being policied as you are advocating for
The short-term solution which increases our chances of winning in this particular game is to ignore their existence and hope in our game the 82% chance they are town, they rolled town
D1 âcatching upâ â plays the game (albeit slowly) â not PLed
D2 âcatching up(?)â â does not play the game (essentially), but not PLed âbecause others were scummier than =randâ
D3 doesnât make a single game-related post â not PLed because of same reason as D2
If this is how âlogicâ works, then all games would converge into a world nobody is playing the game they signed up for. (At least, not after D1~D2.)
I mean Iâve not PLed him not because thereâs scummer people but because of the reasoning above
thereâs an issue to every approach you take with Neon. itâs pick your poison.
generally itâs not as big of an issue it is in this game because youâd have more players who are obviously their alignment but the two players I identified as obvious town got killed off during the night
Volume tell. I come from a primitive site where efficiency was non-existent. (Though as of present, that is no longer the caseâŚ)
In the olden days, the more one speaks, the more likelier it is that they are Town. This criteria is still stuck in my mind despite it clearly being obsolete.
Something I am considering is that Iâm only wolfreading more active slots subconsciously. For example, my pushes consist of Soweli and Gummy (and you, by extension).
I think that doesnât usually show up as a problem, because most of my games arenât like this. I havenât learned how to read slots off of only a few posts and evaluate them fairly to higher posting slots, because those with more posts will almost always be easier to wolfread because thereâs more posts to read. (Theyâd also be easier to townread with more posts, but thatâs not relevant.)
I thought this was true and thought about it for a while, and what it meant for my solve of you/Zone⌠but after thinking, I (independently of that thought) started to reevaluate Zone.
My current position is that youâre paired with Childe. I can make points from the conclusion to support my hypothesis, but thatâs poisoned science. For example, it is notable how you treat Childe as different from other slanking slots⌠but I only thought of that after thinking you two might be paired.
It did not arrive very well, unless itâs about as clear as mud. I thought being correct would have obviously helped a lot and that being wrong would help lead me on the right path. I considered myself a fine villager (prior to this game, which is making me doubt that thought) so I believed that even if I was wrong, it would help me.
I think it has. I was firmly townreading you at the end of Day 2. I think your point about being alone because Iâm wrong is moot, considering my position currently is very different from what it was going into N2. In other words, Iâve already reevaluated, and I still am.
I donât understand this argument. Childe had posted a reads list before, I think. I havenât verified this, but if it says that it thinks Soweliâs a wolf, then whatâs terrible about it?
I did post a lot of my process earlier. I went back to the end of Day 1 and looked at the votecounts. I believed that you would be the most likely wolf given what we knew already.
I might have posted more, Iâm not sure; but I do remember coloring the votecounts.
I mean, hey, if youâre town, I was still able to find you in this environment. If youâre a wolf, then youâre doing what youâve got to do. It seems to be the meta here.
