Now’s as good a time to change that as any. I understand you’re many posts behind, but I think you could reframe that as taking the pressure off. If you’re wrong in your reads… then there’s about a thousand or so posts with information you didn’t have available to you. At the end of the day, it’s practice making reads. The logic that leads you astray and the logic that ends up being correct will eventually, in my opinion, become just experience over time. That’s what happened with me. I don’t have a checklist I go through for who’s a wolf (with the exception of some people’s metas, which are more explicitly defined).

Even over time, gut reads can refine.

Did you not make a point earlier in this game (granted, I disputed it) that I was being extremely hedgey? That seems mutually exclusive with what you’re saying here.

Also, I think I’ve been evaluating many things. I’ve been wrong, yes. I was wrong on Soweli, I pushed villager Gummy, and I’m sure I’ve made more blatantly wrong mistakes this game. That doesn’t mean I’ve been not reevaluating.

I do get stubborn and locked into a view. This does tend to happen when I’m in a more active argument against someone. It happened briefly with Soweli. I don’t think it’s happened enough that I’ve been tunneled on you without discrimination.

Why would you think w!Chomps wouldn’t let you live if you are Town? You are not scumreading him now, so if he is one and you are Town, then clearly he is out of your radar.

Why would Chomps have to put up an image, when apparently everyone else is doing worse? Neon and childe are not playing, yet they get townread for existing. Yet those who do more than just apparently get scumread easier by you?

I didn’t have that position at the end of Day 2, nor at the end of Day 1, which is when my most recent reads would be relevant.

But honestly, I think I was being naive to continue townreading Chomps. I think I was left alive as misvote bait, rather than anything to do with my reads.

Only because Chomps argued that they would. I expect a wolf to not want to willingly contradict themselves.

I am townreading Neon, yes, and at the moment even though I admitted his posts were not as townie as I remembered, I don’t want to spend time trying to solve him. I feel like it’s too much of a waste. A similar argument stands for Childe, but I don’t townread it.

and I think it’s unnecessary. I think it’s most likely born from a place of being genuinely upset. I think a wolf that posts this is being openly rude, which I don’t like to believe.
