i think that 9v2 mountainous is the best setup to practice towning fundamentals

12v3 is wolfsided even in a playerlist of experienced town players
larger games are difficult to fill, and anything bigger than 12v3 mountainous would be a slog to play out. even 12v3 is a slog to play out
9v2 is super close to 50% winrate across multiple mafia communities
purrrrrrr it’s wolfsided (if you eliminate randomly) but does that make it worse for practicing townplay thbthtbhtbt

on MU for example 9v2 has ~50% winrate, 12v3 has ~40% town winrate off the top of my head, same playerbase

9v2 is ~35% town winrate with random eliminations
12v3 is… something like 25%? might’ve been 24.8 but that could be wrong
sidenote that 40% town winrate in-practice feels ~good IMO and I’d probably shoot for that when making a vanilla setup, but I suppose yeah its wolfsided strictly speaking
