Yeah, pretty much. As wolf, I donāt need thread control. I just need minimal thread presence to avoid suspicion while letting town either decay or self-implode on their own.
Posting like Iām doing right now is actively going against my wolf mindset, because if Iām town leader or part of towncore, then I -as mafia- would risk getting attention simply for being alive. (This is why I kept Litten alive for so long in Ice Cream 2. The sheeping townās paranoia never fully go away.)
That attention would then either lead to my eventual execution, or me needing to spend way more energy to convince others I shouldnāt be executed; itās just never worth it to be proactive as mafia.
Of course I combat inactivity as either alignment, butā [PAUSE] (Zone. Internal meeting.)

Eh. Thatās future meās problem. Plus, itās not guaranteed people will have enough memory space to remember this game anyway.
[CONTINUE] it is the degree of how I combat inactivity that is telling IMO. As mafia, I can complain all I want and prod people here and there. The me from past games know that my actions wouldnāt change the people anyway, because what I had to do is what Iām doing now: Paying attention to the individuals and make them do things to get them to play.
pandora was not posting, so I pressured her by threatening to PL slankers. Mistyx opened my eye, so instead I gave her the chance and time to post, which she did.
childe appeared to be struggling to make strong reads in fear of being wrong, so I told it to make GTH reads with any number of scumreads so that it wouldnāt have to worry about being wrong.
As Mafia, I wouldnāt need to push for PLāing slankers, since their existence was what had given me the win in the previous game. I wouldnāt need to give childe a means to interact more with the thread; I could have left it alone and delay the time it needed to be readable.
TL;DR I am Town.

i question things. it is how i play the game. i do not want to make the game unpleasant for you but i am, in general, not going to change from playing in this way, and if it frustrates you, i would rather you express that in a way that does not come off as personal. you are allowed to be annoyed at me but i would rather you not use things ive done in the past to be upset at my current actions

i think zone is town, i think childe is town - iāve explained the former, i could probably explain the latter given time but i donāt feel like itās particularly pressing to do so and i want to sleep
i think spooky is town but iām not sure i could elaborate on it
frost and gummy are the main slots i hold suspicion on at this point

None of the reads really convince me that thereās town thought behind them.
I lean town on Zone, pandora, spooky, Misty, Jaiden, and Ishmael, roughly in that order of confidence.
The staticness of the pushes on carbonated and gummy for most of the day make me want to try something new.
@Zone_Q11 I have a suggestion, if I may.
You have a policy motivation for pushing slankers. I understand that. I think thereās another way to accomplish your goals, though, which will keep us as a town more cohesive and in general improve our chances of winning.
Instead of insisting right away that we kill the lowest posting players, work towards figuring out who is town among the active players. Work together with these townreads to find more town, investigate what reasons are worth keeping and discard others. Doing this will naturally accomplish the same goals of directing the slankers towards being slated for death, but also be significantly more helpful in shaping the game long-term.
Right now, I think youāre town, but I donāt think youāve actually done much to help town get closer to winning despite being rather loud and being pretty consensus townread by others. You have the opportunity and position to do more.
Your continued position that Jaiden and gummy are mafia, which has remained the same since their first couple of posts, is frankly uninspiring. Letās find town instead. Who are you most confident on being town?
