I am trusting Chomp’s guts because I have Barwe/Chomps pair back in my mind and then the vote happens. As for Shending he ought to be good alignment cop check while Meow is protected by Ash.

Shending is anti-consensus towards Ash and despite in a one day hood and told him everything about D1 and some revisions (colored EoD post), there is nothing remarkable for me.

Meow feels different than last game (wolf). She was much more diplomatic, cordial, defensive, grounded. Like she was singing a lullaby. There is that Pokemon that did this … Jigglypuff? Yeah. Wolf!Meow was like Jigglypuff. This Meow feels more loose, a lot more lost. Comes off as more sincere. Villagers are lost and struggling.

granted, this was from w!tutuu, but I think the core of the read is accurate, since it gets at a fundamental part of mafia: villagers are uninformed, wolves ae informed. This difference manifests itself in things like towny paranoia and tmi from wolves.

when skimming i thought this post was somewhat fakeable, but in the context of the post it seemed believable, not confident enough on this one

it’s implausible to me that conversation has been absolutely dominated by townies d1 and all the lowerposters are mafia, also that maybe there are too many conflicting “extreme” reads on players, like there aren’t many consensus town – ybw is the only one I really feel is there (rip n1) – all the other players with a strong townread on them also have some countering player with a ~wolfread on them

maybe I’m biased comparing this to frieren where we did have a d1 that was pretty town-dominated, and there felt like there were more consensus towns?

the emotional pings here from eod aren’t as strong as i thought they’d be, but this feels like a believable post from t!meow. slightly towny but im not confident enough to go beyond that

I’m just struggling to literally wolfread any of qbcord and it feels like it might just be irrational bc so many people scumread jason and gummy has barely posted but I’m just consistently defaulting them to town. just every post jason makes sounds like jason. and I probably have some issue where I conflate being genuine with being town, and he’s not as locktown as he felt in frieren, but man.

this progression i like quite a bit, and it makes sense. meow came out at sod2 sussing snow and pushing them as her primary wolfread, but after questioning them, she started to doubt her push, since everyone else was more interested in ish and me, and now she doesn’t know where to go bc she’s having trouble sussing me and she doesn’t know what to think about ish. I think this feels genuine.

generally I was not confident on the willow vote at all, she was simply my most preferred vote of everyone because she felt the least likely to become readable in the future. I was a little suspicious off the overall disinterest, but I wasn’t and still am not sure if the meta read was even accurate or just pure luck that she randed wolf twice in a row when playing like this. I wasn’t/am not comfortable making very aggressive pushes, and I didn’t want to push willow into doing more than she wanted to

I was simultaneously worried about being accused of being too aggressive/going for lhf if willow ended up flipping town (ESPECIALLY if she was a pr who never claimed) but then I was also afraid of just letting willow get away with it if she was wolf?

the amount of uncertainty and doubt coming through here also feels really genuine, and doesn’t feel informed

I feel like generally there is much less solving activity happening with him than I am accustomed to, but this game is not frieren-levels active

no one can read frost it seems, no one really wants to discuss him :( I do feel like frost probably becomes a bit more readable later in the game, but still. where are you?

I am putting on my biggest ever jason blindspot glasses and ignoring every wolfy macro he’s done to say it all feels in-line with town jason mindset (I think it would take either an outright redcheck or gummy saying jason is sus to make me seriously doubt this)

pointed this out yday, but meow has been uncertain on my slot all game. she keeps thinking i sound towny, but then other people sus me which introduces doubt, and then she starts to secondguess bc she’s afraid she might be misclearing me bc we talk with each other so much, and then she reads another one of my posts and the cycle repeats.

for her to do this, to take a leap of faith into the unknown, i think is very brave of her and i think this comes from t!meow. I wasn’t sure about this yday when i pointed it out, but this is in line with how meow has been all game, which makes me more confident.

I think my towncore is ash, jason, frost, gummy
not fully cleared, but probably town: snow, hippo
have reasons to be towny, but least compelling to me: shending, barwe, chomps

gummy is weird bc I expected more contributions, but all her posts read town to me. no agenda at all (except on me, but I think that’s fine)

I am relatively comfortable saying jason and gummy should never be voted out, nor should any tinfoils on ash be considered. maybe re-consider [jason, gummy but never ash] in f5 or f3, but no one will listen to me if I’m dead by then unless they’re wolves, so it’s fine for me to say you should never vote them

frost has gotten super towny today and was generally uptrending the last two days, I wouldn’t really vote him ever I feel. I like the solving, has generally felt very bold with pushing gummy, like the caginess around the neighborhood, liked the insistence on ishmael and hippo town. feel like he had a lot of opportunity to be more “consensus” with his pushes that he hasn’t taken advantage of

snow I might be too paranoid about because objectively sounds unpaired with willow, prob re-eval if alive in f3. hippo sounds fine, he’s just in too many poes for me to be as confident. ← players I might think about d4 but not d3 moment
