I think I’d just like people to drop reads.
Would like more elaboration from Frost on his reads when he’s feeling better (I imagine it’s similar to his earlier posts where he said his PoE was Chomps and Gummy, but I’d like to understand his progression on Chomps overnight).
Gummy’ll hopefully drop reads soon.
And Shending actually has a sane sleep schedule (I think), so we’ll probably get stuff once he wakes up.

by the way, it is good I think that you are not being very transparent with your reads right now ash since you are making it harder for others to act in specific ways to manipulate your reads
but also is jason like legitimately objectively wolfy or something? I guess hippo seems to say yes but the tone is very good? the game feels so polarized on him (top town for me/shending/barwe and then low poe for like hippo/ishmael/maybe you, and I don’t understand how to parse it at all)

I’m seriously considering dropping my commitment tomorrow+following day, and I’m telling myself it’s bc I’m sick, but I hate that part of me is thinking about mafia
but also I was kinda hoping to use it as a way to disengage from the game a bit and hopefully have less “clouded” reads when I’m not in the middle of discussion constantly, so then I’m thinking about not dropping it, also for mafia

I think it goes back to what I was saying earlier about him being in his wolfrange in a way that others aren’t. Like, on a micro-basis, it’s hard for me to argue that Jason is evil; on a macro-basis, Hippo’s correct that his pushes have been scuffed at best.
There’s also the argument that this is just the curse of being one of the top posters, but Dia and YBW died for a reason.
In my view, making too many posts hinders town because it makes it harder to parse the game. This isn’t an argument against activity; rather, it’s an argument for being purposeful with posting. I don’t feel I’ve been terribly purposeful D1 and D2, so I hold no one else to that standard, but in an ideal world, someone can scan through the thread and have a clear idea of a person’s or the thread’s progression over time.

Basically “thoughts” are about worlds and constellations. Like Hippo was in the godklubb before, and i have liked Frosts tone. But then poe goes down to players who didnt rly follow d1 very much, and there has to have been at least 1 mafia paying some attention based on the nks.
Chomps was a good key but his recent post is interesting so will look into that. Good that he seems unaligned with frost.
Stuff like this… more will come.

Here’s what i think happened eod1:

willow felt pressured enough that she felt like she had to look towny, so she made the wolfcase on snow
- this i think suggests that no one in the thread at the time had enough threadpull to shield her, tho this point kinda doesn’t matter bc i haven’t felt like this is a powerwolf game unlike frieren mafia

when the pressure didn’t go away, and it became clear that willow was going to be a leading wagon at eod, then the wolves realized they needed to figure out a claim for willow
*starting here is my theory
- knowing that willow is about to claim, the wolves can freely place a vote on willow
- if willow’s claim is good (which wolves are hoping is the case), then they can freely switch to some other town
- if willow’s claim is bad or gets cc’d, then their votes look really good
This is why i think meow/shending should be scrutinized

yeah, no I do agree, and I tried to be better at this aspect in this game (and not be the top poster). unfortunately, my self-control weakens the more lost I start feeling rip. I don’t know why I keep telling myself I can be less active will take whatever advice you have…

He absolutely does not but is at a convention this weekend and im very jealous. (Like how he asked mafia for nk bc of this btw, like a joke obvs but his wish will never be fulfilled if mafia so the mere thought feels towny.)

I don’t think I had threadpull really, and I wouldn’t have shielded willow as wolf I think. but I don’t think I would have been bringing her name up in terms of voting all the time either
