yeah I can see that – it’s more of a thought process thing where I wanted to look deeper into you guys and pose a world to myself where one of you is a wolf bc you guys feel the most “deepwolf” potential. as you can see, that didn’t prove very compelling

how confident are you in town shending vs how likely could he be wolf (or what makes you confident that he isn’t a wolf?) I saw some stuff about why you townread him I think, but I don’t have a good relative judge for whether this is within wolfrange or not

Townread barwje since start. have townread shending although i dislike their approach and they have deteriated a lot but idk if thats just because im irritated i think theyre treating my slot in bad faith and are overconfident about things theyre wrong about.

But idk why everyone keeps expecting me to kinda lead things. It feels like thread wants me to essentially gladiate someone and then they choose between me and them but that feels antitown. Yesterday i didnt high post that much but also felt everyone was nudging into my push on ishmael as a gladiate.

i’m like flipflopping back and forth about what this shows.
The parts that are like “cmon explain your reads” and “i could just call you wolf, but im not” are really appeasing in a way that makes sense if alexis literally caught w!chomps and w!willow off openers, and alexis is giving them very little reason to engage and push back against so asking for reads is something w!chomps could be doing to have more to grapple with.
However there are also positive things from chomps here. Their insistence that alexis isn’t “playing the right way” is reminiscient of this post from beatings 1, where chomps was town
additionally, i really liked the line “i don’t like how you’re going about the game.” I think there’s a lot of towny entitlement in these posts.
I think overall these interactions actually look really good for chomps. I guess I can chalk up the appeasing nature of the earlier posts to chomps being cowed by alexis’s early hyperaggressiveness and not wanting to omgus like they usually would. I also really like the progression of appeasement to combativeness. He defends himself a little, but most of his focus is on alexis and alexis’s reads.

I do think it’s kinda interesting that these two are the only reads chomps bothers to make. It’s like basically putting in minimal effort. I feel like this is more likely to come from t!chomps than w!chomps, since w!chomps would make more reads and try to present a more comprehensive worldview to look towny, but this is also an easy meta to subvert so im not gonna put much stock into it
i was kinda worried that frost being chomps’s only wolfread could be him forcing a wolfread to look good, like willow with snow, but i think the read is genuine as you’ll see from the next two posts.
i like this post bc it’s just a simple read, nothing more. it’s not justified and overexplained in the way that wolves pushing agenda like to word their posts.

More towny entitlement
chomps forgetting he was wolfreading frost is so funny to me. I find it much more believable that t!chomps disconnected from the game and simply forgot who he was pushing than w!chomps doing this, i think w!chomps would care more about maintaining consistency in their pushes to look towny.
tldr chomp’s wolfread on frost feels very genuine and real
chomps’s responses to ash about his reasoning to wolfread frost today also feel good and lined up with their previous posts
