There's No Freaking Way Town Will Win on FoL! Unless...

Basically.
If mafia decided to factional me N2, then my redcheck is incorrect, but from a social and mechanical standpoint, it seems unlikely to me they would. Ergo, I think the semi-redcheck holds.

If mafia factionaled me N2, Dia would die; in that world, I’ve got nothing on meow’s alignment.

Bro idk i dont think a factional on you n2 is that unbelievable

But… consider that mafia is also shooting a claimed bodyguard n1

For all intents and purposes they think you’re a standard bodyguard

Why are they shooting both youbie and you? Youbie was consensus town and i think mafia would assume you’d target youbie, which would redirect the kill to you, meaning mafia wastes a kill.

(I just briefly glanced at thread, correct me if bodyguard mech works differently here than on qbcord)

I was led to believe this was a slamdunk case :sob:

Btw this isn’t clearing for meow, she could still be wolf caught for the wrong reasons and we should still be evaluating her on socials

I disagree given both YBW’s death as well as the fact that in a game this small, I would be the only town protective in the game.
You’d just shoot Dia, and if it lands on me, no harm done.

Assuming ash was shot n2

Given that I was a claimed PR and would’ve been widely considered town for counterclaiming Willow at EoD1, I think it makes sense for them to do that.

okay so we’re working with this:

ash protected dia n2, but dia died

  • either ash’s role didn’t work at that point (vanilla)
  • or ash was shot, so the kill was redirected onto dia

in the first case, ash’s role could only have been vanillized if he was shot n1 when he was protecting me. but since ash didn’t kill me n1, that would mean I’m mafia

in the second case, ash was the factional & dia the unlucky target

this seems convoluted enough that I don’t want to consider mafia having a roleblocker after all… but it is possible they rbed you n2 and shot dia? but I don’t think it’s that good of a use of a rb, so it’s probably not what happened

I think it makes far more sense for them to do this N1 to reduce optionality and take out the claimed protective than to do the same thing on N2.

Have you softed n3 cop anywhere

no I’ve been roleplaying as “vt who is faking cop to get nightkilled but has enough inconsistencies to not actually be cop” this game

Meow was very quick with that claim but idk if its a bit too bait that theyre a cop that activates the night after theyve been caught in a check

I can try to find receipts of those if you actually want

it took me 2+ hours to claim?

Oh it was quick for me on the read back because i was reading quickly i guess

for the record, I was planning on claiming vanilla or odd night cop or delayed cop (it kinda changed during the game) if I was pressured for non-mech reasons

unfortunately since this was an unknown mech reason, I felt like I had to fullclaim

What gives me hesitation is that ash was very confirmed and a valid n2 target surely

Ybw and ash were basically lock town post willow death but dia was just strong town posting

And for the meow evil world ash needs to be night vigged n1 specifically where the meow not evil world is just that ash was targetted n2 which feels simpler

Idk slightly feeling like we should let meow get a cop off

Unless anyone ccs cop lmaoo
