LFoL 3 (yes, it’s technically D2, but D1 was a grand total of 15 minutes long)
Conclusions
w!Leafia is significantly more combative than t!Leafia, significantly more sensitive to being marred and significantly more likely to overplay her towniness (“of course we should skip the day” or “of course we shouldn’t execute the confirmed town member” or “of course I’d help you kill mafia”).
By contrast, t!Leafia seems more reactive: where w!Leafia attempts to convince the thread that she’s town, t!Leafia is better defined by an OMGUS mentality: “I know I am town and that I am trying to catch mafia, so if you suspect me, you must be evil.” See her handling of Litten in Project Moon and her handling of Bystander shade in Beatings 3.
This reads quite heavily like t!Leafia: she’s not attempting to backtrack and appeal to a win condition but instead playing into OMGUS.
There’s also this:
Which contrasts quite heavily with how she responded to a similar accusation in LFoL:
(I’m aware that pushing someone for being a neutral is less serious than pushing them for being a wolf, but I feel that the two accusations are roughly similar and only diverge as the game goes on and the cost of “not catching a wolf” outweights the cost of “not catching a neutral”, and I also think it serves as a good example of how Leafia responds to pressure, so I’m drawing similarities there.)
Thus, given all this, I think that Leafia is probably town.
I’ve spoken about Leafia to death already.
Hippo feels detached from this game compared to Odyssey, which lends him a weak townlean until we get more actual content. I’d prefer someone else go over.
Chomps seems intrinsically curious about the game state in ways that remind me of Wrogn 2 Chomps (who I bullied for agenda), which lends him a stronger townlean in my eyes.
Problem is that I’m extrapolating from, like, barely over post minimum from people, so I’ve been trying to put myself in their heads and understand if it would make sense for them to do specific things as mafia.
I need the people to give me more so I can Neuralink into their brains.
I think you can be towny and never die for this effort but I’m going to say that I think due to the lack of activity since I checked in yesterday it’s possible this is performative for you as a wolf, so I’m not clearing you for it completely.
That being said this game is rather barren for interactions right now.
I am very much capable of being performative as a wolf - the Nintendo Loop KRC proves this - but I’m just kinda bored at the moment and am trying to spur activity since I’m starting to lose tread from spinning the wheels.
Does just generally feel like there’s nothing to read people off of this game, made especially clear from backreading the other games.
Leafia and you are my townreads. If I assume it’s a 2v8 then I’ve solved 3 townslots (myself included) already - which is good progress. Even better if it’s 3v7.
Everyone else is a wooden cardboard cut-out that’s propped up as being in this game but they aren’t really…there yet.
Can I have you look at Carbon’s D1s? I’m having trouble parsing her slot.
Grande Idea and Beatings II are good points of comparison, namely because I’m noticing that she plays fairly differently on QBCord versus on FoL.
It’s really not much to go off of though. But I don’t think a wolf leafia with knowledge of anti-claim…deliberately puts themselves in the situation to be, days later, questioned on why they’re still alive, and I don’t think you’d try and generate content when you don’t have to as a wolf. I don’t know that, but it feels more towny to try and get the game to be active than wolfy.
generally feel like wolves woudl just be fine with letting the game sit here and be quiet until someone else like us starts speaking up, then they can pitch in.
Agreed; it’s why I’ve been trying to get the engine running.
To quote Sam Reich, “The only way to win is by playing, and the only way to play is by beginning.”
In the interdsts of avoiding potential anticlaim, maybe it is. Maybe it isn’t.
Hmmm, this is thoughtprovoking at least. Slightly wolfy too I feel. Slim wolflean.
Chomps suspecting villagdrs again it seems. He’s usually good at reading me too which is why I find him suspecting me to be a bit odd.
Why do you think I’m a wolf Chomps?
That analysis of my play has me thinking that Ash is likely a fellow villager. I have a hard time seeing a wolf doing something like that after all.
Carbon is starting to have a villagery feel to him too that I can’t quite explain so giving Catbon a slim townlean. With all that, heading bavk out. Going to be going to the Thomas Theater in a city near me to see Zootopia 2 today which I’m really looking foraard to doing. I’ll be taking the door to door bus with my mom to get there and back since neither of us drive so talk to everyone more later.
i pretty much just randomly said carbonated was evil and since then it feels like every single person agreed me and then nothings happened which makes me think carbonated is good and evils are expecting them to die and then doing nothing
jareks done nothing and their posts aren’t good so maybe evil?
