I think having an option to strip formatting is beneficial. If you want to copy formatting, place the post in the middle of your screen, open the editor and press the quote button.

Unfortunately it’s a bit finicky on mobile but I don’t think I’m actually able to do anything about that with our server plan and my own experience level

when you look at a page which has likes turned off and then look at another page without refreshing the likes get turned off there too
refreshing fixes it
its just why people have been complaining about likes being off
yeah that’s your browser caching the CSS
