I rather think if “not a favorable strategy” means that roles are ~random and have some red hairings.

In which case it also means some people should just not be using them.
Which also is why I think Neon is right that we have tons of prots / roleblocks / tracks. Should be around 50% roles.

This game is also formed around NAR. It’s even in massive bolded in op.
As well as flip which kills first person who targets them. In NAR that is protective or roleblock.

As I see it, around 30-40% are weird roles, some red hairings, some double edged swords, or hard to use.

Another 30-40% are protectives / roleblocks / preventions.
Stuff which goes first in action order.

Around 20% of stuff like watcher which sees only first action (protective, but not killer) etc.

And rest for… rest.

More or less how I would build a game with roles which already flipped.
