  • Two players will be selected as the Mission Supervisors . The Mission Supervisors will draft the players for each team.
  • The game will be played over a series of four rounds. In each round, one player from each team will be selected as the Radiation Technician . All players will be informed of the round’s Category, while the Radiation Technicians will each be privately informed of a randomly selected number between 1 and 21. (Each round, both teams will receive the same number.)
  • The Radiation Technicians will provide a clue based on the category to try to get their team to guess the number. The hosts reserve the right to reject clues that are trying to “game” the restrictions.
  • Each team will then have up to 5 minutes to try to guess the number. The two teams will each have separate PMs to receive and discuss their clues – you will not see the other team’s clue until the round is over.
  • If a team guesses the exact number, they get 4 points. If they are off by 1, they get 3 points. If they are off by 2, they get 2 points. If they are off by 3, they get 1 point.
  • Unlike standard Wavelength, you do not guess higher or lower for the other team.
  • Play continues until every player has had one turn as the Radiation Technician .
  • The team with the most points at the end of the game will receive prizes.
