Rules:
- Follow the Forum Game Rules.
- Post a minimum of 10 game related posts per active phase.
- Fail to heed the former rules more than twice, and you will be subbed out or modkilled.
- I can and might have to add and/or remove rules in the future. Except the first rule.
Let’s just hope that I won’t have to use this rule.
General Mechanics
- This is mountainous: There are 12 Vanilla Towns, and 3 Mafia Goons.
- Factional attacks are mandatory.
- Day Phases last 48 hours. Night Phases last 24 hours.
- All actions must be submitted in your role cards / role PMs.
- Mafia members may communicate with each other through Discord during both phases.
- The host will announce when XYLO occurs.
Roles
Vote Mechanics [Important]
- Votes are placed with the same syntax that is usually used by the VC plugin on FoL.
- The bot’s votecounts will be consistent with the plugin, except that votes that do not resolve to any player are removed.
- To request a votecount, run
/votecountin your role PM. - Voting is plurality only.
- Multivoting is allowed: You can vote for as many players as you wish.
- No-exe is not a valid vote.
- In case of a tie, a random player within the tie will be executed.
- Votes are not locked in XYLO, as there are no hammers.
Zugbot
- This game will be run by @Zugbot.
- Zugbot is a bot to host mafia games, designed by @Zugzwang.
- Zugbot will handle everything - this includes sending out role PMs, processing votecounts and the elimination, accepting and processing the nightkill, etc.
- If the bot runs into errors and cannot be restarted, the remainder of the game will be run manually.
