A lot of people claim they memoryhole their alignment/don’t know their alignment when they’re posting and I kind of don’t believe them. I think at the very least subconsciously they know.
I, however, believe myself when I say that I used to not know my alignment when I was playing, because, again, lol

There’s no rule against that, technically, but IMO that’s against the spirit of the game and I’ll side-eye you for it. It’s a selfish way to play, mafia’s a team game and refusing to reveal why you townread somebody prevents 1. others from being convinced by your argument and 2. others from townreading you for making a good & reasonable argument. Not a fan of sabotaging your current win condition to help yourself out in future games, that’s the same kind of zone as a trust tell for me

Well, im not sure what memoryholing is. Could be a philosophical discussion. Forcibly forgetting something? If you do read your wolf rolecard but then you make yourself forget via skill is that still cheating? Could be debatable

Forcibly forgetting yeah. I read my rolecard, joined wolfchat, just wasn’t aware of it while playing the game. It was still… somewhere in my mind, it was just, like, it was a different person’s memory. The person who I was when I was playing the game didn’t know, I didn’t have access to it
It’s been established that it’s against FoL rules to not know your alignment while you’re playing if you forget it via memory condition, IDK what the distinction between that and skill is

A lot of ppl have been towny imo. I wonder if Archie randed wolf. Im excited for him to post. I read him extremely well. I dont think ive ever been wrong on him including turbos. Hes my ex-boyfriend for those of you who dont know
