i think that the way this game is lost is by cannibalizing the top tier (which i have seen happening a decent amount already between lemon/tutuu/potatocat)

i believe the way to win this game is by identifying the villagers in the bottom two groups and voting out everybody else in those groups. i believe the second group is more likely to make themselves findable on future days than the third group, so pending any super strong wolfreads (which it appears nobody, including me, actually has currently) then my suggestion is to vote in the third group. i see people are hesitant on garfooled and black cat, if people feel strongly about those then i am happy to vote out one of the other two. i recognize neither of these votes are particularly inspiring. but i do not have a better suggestion when no one is overtly wolfy (and many people share this sentiment)

i recognize my lemon read is new and not really explained. but the way she has handled suspicion on her often comes from a town mindset. i have seen her do this before. it is usually villagers who get caught up in the minutiae and die on these hills when it’s just one player who they think is misreading them for a bad reason, and a wolf has other things to worry about or most likely just wouldn’t care in the first place. this is especially relevant because the player in question is tutuu who wolves are almost certainly going to kill early on unless he is massively wrong

i believe the way she has read chomps is indicative of a villager who is wary and unenthused by the push but comes from someone handling it in good faith rather than leveraging a push on him

i think she has several reads in which she does a similar thing:

Eaves is theoretically town. Specifically the villager archetype who’s difficult to reason with, unapologetically so. Which in general crosses as that villager impression who’ll be framed lategame.

such as this, recognizing that eaves is playing in a way that if she is town will likely get her voted out later in the game, rather than converting this into a push. i think a wolf would be much more likely to do the latter and the former goes against what they want to achieve, if eaves is town

Frostwolf answered Hippo quickly after a 12 hr hiatus. Suggests cursory check-ins w/o having anything to say. It’s better to shade this now so he speaks up more.

here is another example where they are prodding frost to do something while flippantly calling it shade - but it’s clear the motivation is to get him to do something rather than actually push him for it

Tutuus definately town i was wrong. Bystanders town.

Sadly as much as i wanted chomps to be town to form the triumvirate i think theyre evil this game.

Their random potatocat push is a bit too manufactured and ik they always to a token push but when they’re town their pushes usually have some logic behind it.

I think potato can be mafia but tonally theyre normal and all their reads have towny logic beyin so dont fully get the wagon.
And i think pandora wagon is a joke or something, i voted them to auto unvote lol

you also appear to have this one dimensional model of how you think i should be playing. that i should be excited to carry because it’s my first game back, and that i’m wolfy for not being excited. but ironically this is actually why i’m town - i have every reason to be happy with this game if i randed wolf - randing wolf on this site is a free win, more than half of the players aren’t playing, and there’s like 7 free MLs i could push if i wanted to at any point. i have wanted to rand wolf on fol for a while because this is what the games are always like. i came back for this game hoping to gin up some enthusiasm but things are basically just the same and i don’t really have it in me to care anymore. i’ll play the game because i signed up for it, but i have no obligation to carry

if this isn’t compelling then… so what? you don’t have to have some read locked in on me on the first phase. funnily enough i actually understand where this desire comes from for you. your recent fol games basically involved you making reads on what limited content you can get from a lobby who is barely playing, then dying night 1 or night 2, and hoping you were right from dvc while the living players unconditionally sheep you. except this doesn’t work because you didn’t have all the information in the first phases, and the players who did get that information didn’t end up using it. consider if i’m town then the prognosis for this game is a lot more optimistic. i’m not playing hard enough to get killed early on, clearly, and if it gets to a point where i can be that player who uses that new information to rejuvenate the game, then i will try to do it. this lobby has enough players, not just me, who can activate on later phases. you aren’t the only one capable of carrying this game. we just don’t need to do it all at the same time. and for this reason you don’t need to worry about getting a perfect read on everyone right now, including on me. so my recommendation is that you stop breathing down my neck to reach for whatever reason you can to read me one way or another, and you’ll be more capable of waiting for something to come naturally which is a lot more compelling
