Rules

1. Follow the Forum Game Rules.
2. Post a minimum of 10 game related posts per active phase.
3. Fail to heed the former rules more than once, and you will be subbed out or modkilled. You are given only one second chance.
4. With exception to the first rule, the hosts can change the rules for the sake of the game.

General Mechanics

• All actions must be submitted in your classcards / role PMs.
• Mafia members may communicate through Discord during both phases.
• All players will be informed if their abilities are roleblocked or redirected, and whom they were redirected to.
• Action deadline is two hours before phase change.
• The host will announce when XYLO occurs.
• The game starts when the player list is fully filled.

Vote Mechanics

• Use the latest voting format.
• Plurality: Whoever has the most votes at the end of a phase will die.
• Majority: At any point during day phase, whenever a player has >50% of all (public) votes, the day will end and all votes will be tallied. The player with the highest vote weight will die.
• In case of a tie, a random player within the tie will be executed.
  –unless [No Exe] is also tied, in which case [No Exe] will take priority.
• [No Exe] is a valid vote, and may be hammered to end the day early.
• Public votes are always shown at all VCs and can trigger Majority.
• Private or “secret” votes are never shown at any VCs and can never trigger Majority. However, these votes may still affect the target of execution.
• Self-votes are considered valid votes.
• Votes are locked in LYLO.

Short Summary

• This is an open setup with 10 Town Vanilla and 3 Mafia Goon.
• Day/Night phases last 48/24 hours.
• Factional attacks are mandatory and assigned.

Card Mechanics

• There is a deck consisting of 52 Cards. Each Card are unique and have unique effects.
• All players start the game with a hand size of three. If a player’s hand size (i.e., “how many cards you are allowed to hold” and NOT “how many cards you currently have”) were to decrease to zero or less, then they die.
• At any point during the game, players may rearrange the order of the Cards in their hand.
• Each active Card’s effects are 1-Shot. After their single use, the Cards become “spent”.
• At any point during day phase (within the action submission deadline), all players may discard any number of their Cards (spent or unspent) from their hand to the discard pile. This may only occur once per player per day phase.
• At any point during day phase (within the action submission deadline), all players may draw as many Cards within the limitations of their hand size. This may only occur once per player per day phase.
• When a player attempts to draw from the deck when there are not enough Cards in the deck, the Cards in the discard pile will get recharged and shuffled before being put back to the deck.
• Some Cards burn out after use instead of becoming spent. These Cards get piled into the burnout pile.
• Upon the death of a player, all their Cards will be sent to the discard pile.
