yeah that gets rarer and rarer if you move after graduating

My ROOM HERE has BIG UNOBSTRUCTED WINDOWS!! I’ve been waking up like shit for years and I was like what happened to just waking up naturally after 8 hours. It’s the windows!!!

What I don’t miss: there was half a pizza in the fridge when I went to sleep but I woke up lunchless, presumably because my brother ate it all

My apologies

I don’t think this meaningfully impacts things provided you have somebody else to buy food so you don’t starve

I like to leave the house for reasons other than not starving. Like talking to people and such. And going to the RMV. And going to classes. And the doctor. And the people I’m relying on to drive me everywhere I need to go are 1. unreliable people, generally and 2. just, like, other people with busy lives regardless, they’re not always going to be available to take me where I need to go

By the time I was about ready to leave for college I was genuinely going insane

I lived here all my life. Going to college was a massive massive improvement in my quality of life even before I had friends there and started talking to people

that’s what the next house over is for (also especially if they’re a ways away bikes are op)

what the heck is an RMV tho

What the fucking idiots outside Massachusetts call a “DMV”. CLEARLY it’s a Registry and not a Department

WTF are you talking about, everybody on my street is part of the same family and they are generally deeply unpleasant and over the age of 65

The woman next door’s only hobby is yelling at vehicles who turn in her driveway and she got into a property dispute with us over like a couple feet of grass because “we put a fence before the grass, so now it’s on the other side of the fence, so it’s hers”

I generally prefer having the ability to engage in some level of selectivity over who I get to talk to on a daily basis rather than being forced to talk to the particular people next door. And I want to have some level of independence such that I can go to the doctor by myself or pick up something I need or just go out to a different place instead of begging my family to fit it into their schedule
