23456th poster gets a cookie (cookie thread (Part 7)) (Part 11)

(I kept a couple; the Jason role counts as a host argument ability, for example, it’s subjective. But yeah I really think people should be sparing with those. I’m gonna add that to my post.)

jason role you can just go “as loosely defined as possible” honestly

so we had an ogi vig that was actively worse in anni

in fairness the ability flavored about killing 24 villagers in a row in a game where wolves were never particularly in danger ever (vs the bop role where he killed like 20 villagers but as a solo wolf) is kinda pushing for you to do some absurd shit to get value out of it for flavor reasons

fwiw i considered the mera role quite weak

It’s subjective, but I would just plant the flag on it and add a note that like “yeah it’s subjective fuck you if you disagree” and move on. I would probably go farther and say that if it’s borderline we’re siding against you, and recommend playing to the spirit of mechanic and avoid any doubt about it being non-consensus.

it literally could only punish mentions of multitabling

and in our discussions of whether we should be allowed to use it off of certain posts we probably caused more ogi than we prevented

that entire role… read the flavor of that role to extrapolate my thoughts on that role

meow

imo OGI dayvigging your lost wolf who spends the entire mash in dvc flaming the wolves is pretty peak anni

we stratted it btw because it’s a three shot dayvig

and my pregame argument to the effect of “okay but how many people are honestly gonna be able to say they’re multitabling anni” is in and of itself ogi

oh also i don’t like vigs that have stupid restrictions. i actually don’t understand spam vigs.

you’re punishing people FOR PLAYING THE GAME!!!

Nah Jason’s role was faaairly easy because we were just gonna accept basically everything, the wording was “as loosely defined as possible”

The role about Jason gave you powers from previous games and thus created arguments about what’s too powerful

Yeah that’s the point

The point of spam vigs is to disincentivize super high posting because the hosts think it’s bad for the game

I think spamvigs are morally just

sometimes ppl need to shut the fuck up for everyone’s sake (i say this lightheartedly)

(i don’t entirely agree but spamvigs specifically are kinda funky)

It’s supposed to be a soft postcap, previous FAMs would go “posting less than 30 or more than 300 times is not recommended”

okay so i fundamentally disagree that people wanting to play the game a lot is bad for the game and if you think that you can just add other consequences instead of Death

I mean you would say that,

Ms. Spamvig Target herself
