I was trying to say that lesbian stuff can be fetishized by guys even if they are homophobes. They dont stop being homophobic just because they only tolerate or like lesbianism

Also I donât see how lesbians are more fetishizable, than others. Most fetishes can be applied on all gender.
And even then, there are some creative artists who give tits to guys, or d**ks to gals, and oh boy⌠Thatâs a whole different iceberg.

if someone wasnât interested in men but was interested in women then they would naturally not hold any stake in a romance containing exclusively men but they might feel differently towards romance containing exclusively women because they are interested in women and itâs practically just two or more women

but how you explain straight women having the same sentiment?
(At least I think most of them were straight, when the debate came up. Although at that point I still thought I was straight as wellâŚ)
seeing as there exists a term exclusively for women with a vested interest in yaoi i think the issue may lie with your audience

In my whole life I met exactly 1 woman, who said, she likes yaoi, and hates yuri⌠and not much later it was found out she refered BL as yaoi and GL as yuri in that context.
I believe people who like yaoi exist (since there is a media targeting them), but it isnât a common demography in my social network. (And even them existing doesnât exclude the possibility, that those people like yuri more, than yaoi.)
Itâs not really a question you can just ask anyone, and get a straight (no pun intended) and clear answer.
i do not care for either unless youâre actively being strange about it towards gay people
