I think unless both mafia are in the neighborhood, it makes more sense to push the impure neighborhood narrative for mafia (at least for the people not in neighborhood) and then either keep pushing or do the “re-evaluated” thing if town is voted

this has been said by several others, I’ve just been thinking more on it and starting to agree

carbon using a double vote d1 vs any other day seems less optimal for mafia, unless there were restrictions on the double vote, and she was incentivized to use it d1. but if she figured she’d be in a thunderdome, then I can see it. also it just hit me that carbon is in a neighborhood again

slight defense of gummy here that she’s sick and not feeling well, so I wouldn’t be surprised at some apathy from her. not saying she doesn’t fit a potential partner, but yeah. I think the taking beancat at face value is probably weirder than the apathy anyway, but gummy was only on for a short bit

what are the paths going forward from there – does one flipping wolf clear the other two? if we get a town flip, what happens with the other two (determine d2?). does a neutral flip mean the other two are probably town or non-mafia? (imagining a town-mafia-neutral neighborhood now)

Not entirely but I’d be willing to partially clesr the other two at least. I doubt both wolves are in a 3p neighborhood after all.

It’s an interesting idea but yeah… then later into the game carbon’s vote weight is 0? I’m doubting that would be the case but I also think we don’t want to give evils possibilities to explore, we want to leave all options open so they don’t know what to do.

It’s not as if I’d multiple times said comments regarding meow’s posts or anything but it’s fine, I remember that some people don’t read everything on this forum.

My ISO isn’t that big so like, please do be reading x3 I thought Meow’s response to something was agenda-y, plus some other posts by meow seemed like a case of fencesitting which I tend to find a bit suspicious. Overall I think our difference in play style might also be rubbing me the wrong way somewhat.

This part is the part I find most weird, because mechanically we have no idea about Carbon’s double vote whereas it’s worded as if Carbon chose to do it in a pro-town way which could potentially be agenda?

I didn’t mean to come across as pushing town carbon if that’s what you mean here. I was assuming carbon’s role let her use a double vote at some point somehow and thought that if that was the case, using it d1 was a better look than hiding it for later

this is about my read on jarek, not beancat (I think jarek pushing potential pure neighborhood possibility is generally towny, but I would feel much more paranoid if it’s confirmed the neighborhood is not pure?)
