Take Jarek’s claim.
It’s not only converts who can see visits, but also starting scum - Luminary.
Luminary, if not converting, would be probably searching for NE. Which makes a lot of sense to go to Cloned for that.

Then why this claim happened?
Becouse he wanted to clear you? No, you weren’t even topic of discussion.
It happened exactly to get more credit. And even then it’s not a good idea, considering scum could, and is likely to, go for the same target and obtain same amount of information.

So please stop thinking that claim = confirmation. Both in your case as well as case of others.

Claims need to be carefuly times. Outing them without net gain, means you out them with net loss.

Seriously, we probably already had one bonus death due to it. Let’s not continue this route.

The problem here is they just… assume Jarek is scum, without evaluating much else.
Yes there are some suspicious parts about Jarek’s behavior over the past two days, but jumping directly from there to luminary is absurd. They don’t even get the claim right - Jarek tracked Kiiruma to me, not watch me.

Sure, Jarek gained towncred for this - regardless of their intention, that’s what happened. But mechclearing, or at least putting a mechanical townlean on, two very PoE slots is an extremely valuable information that we will no longer have further access to once they become king. Regardless of Jarek’s alignment, they put a green lean on both Kiiruma and myself, which is almost always +EV for town if I am indeed correct on Kiiruma’s intentions. Capy ignores all this and just calls for everyone to stop claiming; claiming is almost always beneficial in most high-power open games, as we can catch people have contradicting information.

Putting all this together, I believe that Capy was and is working hard to discredit Jarek as a king, without necessarily considering Jarek’s actions; I am not yet confident in Jarek, but see little reason to have this coordinated an attack on them this early.

Maybe they have a powerful enough role that they didnt want to push for themselves to be king

but I dont see a how a spy (a tracker/2shot watcher) would be more useful than they currently are; i recall someone advising me that checks from a tracker/watcher should be revealed as it’s unlikely they will get another check

the act of watching that is also not clearing because there are a few scumroles that could…actually use a watch action

there is 3 scum, 2 if scum actually tried to convert prince as additional kpn for some reason and failed. Giving out townclears isnt town ai on its own

whoever said this has no idea wtf theyre talking about or they’re legitimately just scum. spy is literally op while prince/marq is still alive. I am struggling to see why town!jarek outed himself as a role like that just to claim someone visited someone else (and claimed they were both probably town) and then ask to be king.
