Like he graduated from there
ye ik
this is why I intend to go to a mid school (with good financial aid)
The issue is the whole “prestige” thing is very very real
what does that mean
Like it helps a lot more then you think
my uni costed me $260 a year
oh
if you have 2 applicants with similar resume, the person from the better uni gets picked
every time
you’d think itd be the person who does the best first impression tho
also the whole “employers dont actually care” bit comes from my dad ftr
nah the flashy unis win
if it was a stem job first impression (social?) probably less important than academical achievement
ye fair
stem jobs moment
then again this is the guy who also thinks that going on a mission is a quality that employers should seek
so
note, however. that flashy university does not have to equal ivy or a uni where you have to take out a mortgage to go to. there are a lot of prestigious state schools out there (albeit not in utah, unless you consider BYU a different kind of prestigious)
er
you get the idea
ye fair
