the law on mandatory breaks varies somewhat by state, but generally yes (since it’s very hard to enforce “your company has to let you take a lunch break, and can’t pressure you into skipping it” without just making it mandatory)

huh, according to a random site I just found on Google, Utah doesn’t actually require companies to give meal breaks to adult employees (they do have to give meal breaks to minors)
