I think Silence first leads Marissa and company to push into the Midwest?
Give me a few to understand how resolution in this game works.
Ok, yeah, if we played Silence at start, we’d not have CP to stop Marissa from taking the Midwest on her turn: she’d play a card for the Campaign Points (likely a 3 CP card), spend 1 to get into the Midwest, and attempt to take control there.
Let’s play Greater Houston to take the Midwest and shore up the Northeast, then?
Let me check what the Dwight D. Eisenhower card (the Silence counter) does in case they have it.
The chances she has the card are fairly low, I think? But she probably plays it immediately if she does
Likely, especially given the aggression of the Houston play. And if they pull it out, we just play the Silence card for the Campaign Points the following turn.
Sounds like a plan.
Sure
Cool.
Final question is which five states we want to add support to.
Thoughts on three in the Midwest, two in the NE?
That works
Where do u find the deck
Couldn’t find the deck; this one was pulled from the How-To-Play video.
I can try and put together a list of cards in the deck from this one channel that has a bunch of hour-long videos of them playing it?
if you own tabletop sim i can send you the link to the board im using for this
I don’t, but I appreciate the offer.
OK I agree. Do we have opinions on which states
Looking at the electoral map, I’d say Missouri-Illinois-Michigan for the Midwest and New York-Pennsylvania for the NE.
Could replace Missouri in the Midwest for New Jersey in the NE for the three extra electoral votes, but I don’t think those matter too much.
Sounds good
Put the action in one message for my sanity and ill get to processing
Play Greater Houston, place in Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania
