The FAM3 FAM4 design team is hard at work, and we have a few questions to help us with logistics! Please take a moment and answer the polls below.
What is FAM?
FAM stands for FoL’s Annual Mash.
It’s a 24/24 rolemadness game with very high post volume and a large playerlist - last year had 54 players. Mashes have many events and mechanics including In Thread Attacks, in which every player has a publicly submitted dayvig with a 15% chance of hitting.
FAM is focused on the player’s enjoyment, rather than being primarily a competitive game, and all the roles are flavored around members of the community.
Things We Know
- The game will most likely be in late June or early July. We will do our best to schedule it around Champs and MU anni, once we know when those are, but it may not be possible to 100% accommodate this with no overlap.
- The game will once again be 24/24.
- The game will be most likely be rolemadness.
- There will be ITAs, with ITA windows. Regardless of when the windows are, they will probably start at least 2 hours after SoD and end at least 2 hours before EoD.
- Host availability will ultimately determine all scheduling decisions, even if this results in some inconvenience to the players. However, we will do our best to accommodate player availability when possible.

but after June 13th you only go in if you’re taking certain tests so I could easily play after that
