I think Cape and Daeron are just town, but I don’t get why one is considered to have a potential world where they’re not town while the other doesn’t when technically speaking, they both have potential worlds to just not be town.
Cape doesn’t get silent shot at as Mafia, that doesn’t happen, but I’ve not seen you brought this up once.

Anything which could only be faked if a specific player rands a specific role, or wins a specific ability which is activated on the same player which just so happens to be checked, which isn’t certain to be in play — I think this is a broadly reasonable line to draw to stop tinfoiling a slot in a Mafia setup.

two reasons
1, I want something to argue about (I’m bored and it brings thread engagement which is just always a net positive for town)
2, Because I don’t get why one is considered town with an asterisk, while the other isn’t? If we want to make a consistent list of mech, make it consistent. Making it inconsistent is just going to confuse people for literally zero reason in my opinion
If I don’t mention something which seems pertinent, it can be presumed I either missed it (in this case, I think I forgot about it) or didn’t find it interesting.
i see no reason to push them at any point that isnt LYlo purely for the fact everyone feared by maf townread them d1+d2 so it would take a collective skill issue to kill them

If youre saying why is daeron town with an asterisk but not cape it is bc having a godfather in the game and having it specfically be cape is more unlikely than maf choosing to vanilize one of their own
I like that list with the slight exception of maybe neil should be scrutinized but i also think it’s towny

But Ratchet’s flip is something we literally can say cannot be faked, I could say that instead of the social things around Daeron, no one else claimed to be made vanilla and even if we say “Well they can target other Mafia as they retain abilities!”, then I can bring social into this and talk about Kyo’s double vote once more which is the entire god damn reason in the first place I thought it was so pertinent because if Kyo was mafia that was vanilla’d, then we know for certain that he’d have a doublevote (but he didn’t claim one) and if not he’s just a mafia with a different role now or different abilities with an excuse for his missing doublevote
I don’t get why Cape and Kyo are so different here, they’re really not in my eyes, both have so many deciding factors that assuming some highly specific circumstance is just out of the questions, so why is one being considered a “possibility” while the other isn’t?
