mmmmmm I don’t know. I feel like I should be townread by people who know me because I am consistently this lost in games when I’m town & they’ve played games w/ town me a lot recently. I think the barriers to this happening are that jason inherently finds that behavior kinda wolfy-ish & the last time I was wolf against him (gim), I also was “lost” the entire game & jason is paranoid of me (and gummy). dia has had tmi on me the last two games we played, so I think they’re just worried about not catching me? also I seem to fit well into the potential teams & they have their pet tinfoils which I guess from their pov are reasonable, even if I disagree that I would play like that. also I guess I’m a VT, it’s not the worst loss to the game to misexe me.
I think in a vacuum, there are a lot of wolfy things about my slot – I haven’t been pushing anyone who has flipped mafia, and I think most of the pushes I actually felt some level of belief in, I’ve ended up thinking I was wrong & they were town later. I don’t have any strong scumreads. eods have been inconsistent with what I’ve earlier stated I would vote within or something since I don’t really give gummy any restrictions on who is off-limits or who my preferred push is (bc I’d rather make her be wrong than be the reason she is wrong) & I don’t think she backreads half of what I say. so I don’t really think I expect you to townread me because you feel like a very rational/logical player, and I am basically giving you a wolfcase on myself. I don’t think there is anything explicitly “towny” I have done beyond trying to keep up with the game & contribute whatever thoughts I have on mech/pairings/vibes
like the best argument I have for that is that I’d have better positioning if I were mafia, which isn’t the most compelling argument. there’s also the hydra dissonance stuff, but that seems to muddy the waters rather than clearing them since it’s plausible to you guys that maybe we decided to make gummy powerwolf while I townside or something. and obviously the VT claim isn’t the most helpful for alignment determination since you guys are looking for a rolecop & I feel like the natural disguise for rolecop would be VT.
I think gummy’s frustration has felt real, but I think she does do that as both alignments so like, eh I don’t know necessarily if you can read either of us that hard on meta. I liked tutuu’s townread on me earlygame because he seemed to actually see how lost I generally am although I am unsure if it will still hold up.
my wagon right now is leafia and dia. dia is townier than leafia, that’s all I have really. it’s hard for me to see leafia as wolf though, she’s been very much not powerwolfing? nor is she really trying to farm towncred off d1 hippo.
I usually expect wagons on me to be started by town & mafia will vaguely support it and only jump on midway. carryover from qbcord meta, so it might not be true in fol. in terms of slot in the game, I’m pretty solidly in the poe, so I think if mafia felt powerwolf-y they could try to push me very hard. you & jason half-started with this type of push, but neither of you really followed through with votes? perhaps I’ve jinxed myself. maybe I am too confident though, but I feel like I’m not so universally considered mafia in the thread for mafia to feel comfortable powerwolfing me out though because they would be worried about how they look after I flip. I guess I would expect mafia to be more of the people not expressing an opinion on me or at least, not a strong opinion on me at all. I don’t really know if mafia would defend me here either though because they really need the miskills & I think miskilling me opens up more room for towncore to be suspicious of each other (e.g., tutuu not “solving the game”) or something. maybe I have too much faith in towncore beinig pure.
but I haven’t felt very strongly pushed today, it’s felt more like a pressure/poe vote. leafia suspects me as she has most of the game, and I’m like whatever about it. dia is tunneling me & it’s mildly sad, but at least they are at least maintaining the appearance that I could flip town. I mean. whenever dia pushes me, they’re mafia, but it just seems very mechanically infeasible for dia to be mafia in this game, so I’m trying to ignore it. most of their posts do ping towny to me now too.
and this is hard, as I did just say. I feel like I just commit to kiiruma and hope I’m not wrong again here because I feel like the most he has going for him is that “he could plausibly be town” to me & shrug, 36501, tutuu, and dia all seem to be ~okay with the wagon. his read on me was like plausible even if I don’t really like the “plenty of town posts, but some things which hold me back from properly trusting it” line. he feels very different again from last game, but I don’t know.
I think it’s interesting how he’s choosing to put leafia as his top wolf, with the rest of poe being me/willow/chomps, with the vote landing on chomps despite me having been the main one (of his poe) pushing kiiruma all-game. maybe it’s the easier push, maybe it’s distancing. or maybe I’m just tunnelled because I didn’t like kiiruma’s opener d1 & trying to justify this to myself. willow being added bc I said she wasn’t active in wolfchat, so mechanical slips may have occurred if players didn’t consult her is a bit opportunistic if willow is town I guess, but I’m really just trying to find reasons to justify this so shrug.
I don’t have a good partner in mind for kiiruma, he’s just been so detached from the rest of the game. I feel like the players I remember commenting on kiiruma being like [me, frost, 36501, tutuu]. if kiiruma is wolf, then snow was told to claim him as their target for the distancing/towncred. snow bussed hippo; if I recall, kiiruma kinda just vibed it out without taking sides? I do kinda dislike the lack of reads this game until the readslist just now. no one has been defending kiiruma at all either. so it could be a chomps/kiiruma push each other distancing thing as my best guess right now.
I’m not all that satisfied with kiiruma/chomps(beancat) though. if kiiruma set up snow’s claim to give himself towncred, I’d expect more pushing of snow or like, trying to maximize the towncred more maybe? and kiiruma is likelier to be voted out than chomps & I don’t think chomps gets cleared off a kiiruma wolf flip, so I don’t get what their plan is, but it might also just be somewhat unwinnable for mafia unless there’s a very good deepwolf which I don’t want to believe sigh

i don’t think i said i should (& any such plans are certainly on hold i’ve been busy) but i feel like you were a lot more of a presence last game! like hydra shenanigans, larger game, and maybe just unfortunate coincidence but iirc you had like good things to say last game while i don’t particularly remember anything of this game & this comment only reinforces that belief. maybe i’ll start going through a bit of the ISO just to see how it is.
on the ~wolf-case on yourself i cannot read both of you well on meta but. hm. ok. interesting. i just don’t think kiiruma flips wolf here but there are bigger names on the wagon, we’re fine, i’m not getting a strong argument against it but like. idk. miaw…

aww thanks though. I was pretty wrong last game though. I don’t think I’ve been playing this game differently than last game, but I think any good points I have are usually said by someone else & other players have just had more time to play this game than me? also, I dislike being in a town lead position unless I have to & in this game, I have not had to. I think dilution is at least somewhat responsible, like for the same reason your posts made less of an impression on me this game.
I assume you think I am likelier to flip wolf than kiiruma? and then who do you think I would be partnered with? still frog?

i am still attatched to frog wolf yes but if you’re very clever you may notice i’ve been rather tapped out of this day 3 and i wasn’t reading him too hard d2 either. I just don’t find you guys towny & there are marginal wolfpoints both in general and how you approach the EoDs.
idk i found myself contemplating the you/frog interaction and like in theory i don’t hate it. that much. no i’m sorry i lied i hate it a good bit naturally occuring townslips are silly, inducing somebody to townslip is like. what. i. what… ok but I don’t hate it in terms of ‘v!gummy wants to probe into frog and. whatever.’ and 'v!frog doesn’t know how to navigate the site at all. i guess. though i don’t think this is compelling what’s. i mean i think it’s kind of silly to not see that nobody died. whatever. but taking that at face value it was fine. and then i recall how it looked in practice and like. ehhh. add on top your kinda. weird theatrics about your slot’s read on him, everything else, at best i think frog is just playing somewhat differently from how i expect him to as town and i’m being shaken up by this which is supported by everybody’s reads but said reads also include kiiruma & chomps being wolf. which??? like. i also just don’t see.
