I have to defend myself, because apparently one post and a vote is AI.

why wouldn’t it be? i agree with what my predecessor said: everything game-related is AI. anyone should be expected to have to defend themselves with this sort of entrance.

That’s my bad. I shouldn’t have suggested it was NAI; rather, I meant to express it wasn’t particularly AI. There’s a fine distinction, when it’s relevant to a player but doesn’t seem to relate to their alignment in any way. I figured my first post wasn’t a big deal.

Casting a vote seeming randomly stands out far more than remaining silent, so ‘blending in’ is objectively false.

casting a vote on anyone other than the leading wagon would not have been blending in, as it is my point stands.

I can understand your logic, but I’m forced to disagree with this here. Had I wished to blend in, without simply staying silent, I could’ve shared a few thoughts without casting a vote. Had I cast a vote on someone else, I would’ve been asked why I voted as such anyway. I have more respect for this player base than to expect a vote on Leafia would be missed entirely, even without knowing Pigeon would vote as well a few moments (minutes?) later.

Have your thoughts changed now Cloned isn’t voting me? Just curious. I’m not majorly interested in justifying my votes unless it’s incredibly weird, worse than the Leafia vote.

This makes sense, now. I’m being heavily accused for voting randomly, right before another player casts the same vote, on an already heavily voted player in a majority system.

I’m heavily accused for voting Leafia just before Pigeon casts a vote on Leafia, sending her to L-2 in a majority vote. In other words, I’m suspected for aligning votes seemingly randomly with another player, as if I had been communicating with someone in a Mafia chat. That thought is in the back of everyone’s minds, or at least the people suspecting me.

This ignores the fact that a D1 mislynch doesn’t really help Wolves, so I’d be ruining my own game as Mafia for trying this.

….excuse me? and how, pray tell, does a correct D1 yeet help them? why would you as Mafia be ruining your game by trying to accomplish your objective?

I can understand this confusion, If I had been Mafia, arranging a guaranteed D1 mislynch doesn’t help the Mafia when I would be heavily suspected and likely lynched the next day. It would be safer to remain in the shadows and subtly nod suspicion into an innocent player’s direction.

I didn’t know exactly how many votes were on Leafia at the time, since the VC was outdated. Two or three players had voted following the previous VC, I noticed those votes and forgot to add them onto the current votecount as I knew it.

theres two people that im kinda closing in on and if youre the first, then i think youre town, and if you’re the second, i think youre scum, so it’s pretty important to me. as it is, though, ive made the observations that I can and can only read you off of abstract principles at the moment, so i’d say figuring out who you are is pretty important for me.

Why can’t you read me via normal principles? Do either of the players you have in mind have some sort of abstract metas?

this came up while i was typing, so while i did reference this earlier in the post, ill rehash - if you were just a lone, new account, id have you as a townlean
however, with the knowledge that youre an alt account with previous experience with me and, for example, leafia, that changes things

You’re kind of similar to Professor, Magnus in how it seems like you approach the game. Like, your posts restate a lot of information, and you ask questions, and you’re trying to ascribe motivations. I don’t think any of that is alignment indicative, despite how proud you are of your girthy posts. But if you post enough, and keep doing your thing, if you are Town I will find you. That brings me to my point.

The reason I remarked upon your sassiness was not to be cutesy, I’m commenting on a trait, specifically a playstyle trait. Your sassiness was specifically Towny. Why? Because your expression demonstrates a quality in tone of indignance, authority, and assertiveness

He honestly isn’t wrong here. I’m currently tinfoiling Pigein/Magnus as w/w, but there’s a thought that scares me too and that thought is this: Can it really be that easy?

It just feels like we’re missing something important. GTH, Magnus/Pigeon contains exactly one wolf.

While at this point I think clonedcheese’s “RT” is looking more likely to be a wolf “it was actually an RT” moment, I’m not sure why he would feel a need to do this as a wolf. He wasn’t largely scumread for his posts, and even received townreads from some people. It’s possible he thought his made up post surrounding Pigeon’s meta would come back to haunt him, but otherwise it doesn’t really make sense.

This is interesting. The only comment on my alignment you have made is a townread of one of my thoughts. What led you to this conclusion?

You seem to be backing off of cloned (for the time being) in a way that doesn’t feel natural to me. You pushed him pretty hard, at least in my eyes, and then you’re suddenly reconsidering your read on him without much of a progression.

That said, this read is also dependent on cloned’s alignment, and your other posts have been ~decent, so you’re not my main priority rn.
