Rules:

General Mechanics

• This is a closed rolemadness.
• Day Phases last 48 hours unless majority is reached early. Night Phases last 24 hours.
• All actions must be submitted in your classcards / role PMs.
• Mafia members may communicate through Discord during both phases.
• Factional attacks are optional and assigned.
• If a player has more than one abilities that they can use on the same phase, then they may use all of them simultaneously. (Unless otherwise stated.)
• Passive abilities cannot be roleblocked.
• Only players with investigative abilities will be informed if their abilities are roleblocked or redirected. These players will be informed whom they were redirected to. In this game, “investigative abilities” are abilities that lets the user gain feedback pertaining another player’s information.
• All abilities (including Locked, Disabled, Lost, and Removed) will show up on flips. (Not all of these types will show up in this game.)
• Action deadline is two hours before phase change.
• The host will announce when XYLO occurs. Roles are hereby taken to account.
• The game starts when the player list is fully filled.

Special Mechanics

• This game is Experimental. Some or all information may be redacted on flips.
• There are no Neutral parties.
• There are no alignment conversions.
• There are no logs / last will mechanics.

• Town’s win condition: You win when all Mafia have been completely eliminated, and when at least 1 Town member is still alive.
• Mafia’s win condition: You win when all Town have been completely eliminated, or when nothing prevents this from happening.

Anti-Claim Mechanic: Roleblocker / Vanilla-izer

Each night, Mafia members may target a non-Mafia player and submit a guess about said player’s in-game full name or said player’s role in Mafia Chat.

The first time a player’s in-game full name is guessed correctly, that player will be roleblocked and they will become immune to the anti-claim mechanic for the following night.

If a player’s in-game full name is guessed correctly for the second time, or if the player’s role is guessed mostly correct, then that player will lose all their abilities at the start of the following day.

Vote Mechanics

• Use the latest voting format.
• Plurality: Whoever has the most votes at the end of a phase will die.
• Majority: At any point during day phase, whenever a player has >50% of all (public) votes, the day will end and all votes will be tallied. The player with the highest vote weight will die.
• In case of a tie, a random player within the tie will be executed.
  –unless [No Exe] is also tied, in which case [No Exe] will take priority.
• [No Exe] is a valid vote, and may be hammered to end the day early.
• Self-votes are considered valid votes.
• Votes are locked in LYLO.

[Further explanation]
There are core essences of each role that needs to be guessed properly for the anti-claim to succeed. For instance, if a Mafia guesses Roleblocker at a Jailkeeper, then the guess fails because the Doctor-aspect of the target was not guessed.

Another instance is if Town has two or more abilities, but one of them is deemed not essential to the role. (E.g., “when you die, your names -player name, flavor name, and role name- will be colored yellow”, “you start knowing nobody’s in-game name starts with the letter J”, “each even days are rainy”.) In such cases, the Mafia don’t need to guess those in order to trigger the anti-claim mechanic.
