I’ll think about it
will state re: Diplomacy that it will likely take a while to complete and im fine with another small misc game running along side it
is this still in the misc queue because crich plans to try to fill it again at some point, or because it just never got removed?
I understand him to intend to run it at Some Point but maybe not a soon point
Oh I never got round to removing that.
is the high-intensity misc slot open rn
(unsure if I’d want to run one but I’d consider it)
someone should host word match
i want to match words
(I was thinking about word match without teams, and anyone who matches in X turn advances to the next round)
Who else thinks it’s a bad idea?
I think it’s a funny idea, but I’m worried we’d have problems with ties and reranding words and too many rounds from too many people matching.
I guess we could do, like, first 50% of players to match or those that do in ten rounds (whichever comes first)?
But we’d also have the issue of having to wait for every single player to submit a word for the round to continue, and V kinda established that that’s not necessarily a consistent thing.
Yeah, turn/round times will be definetly longer, since we are waiting everyone’s input in every turn. (Instead of just two, who probably has the same timezone.)
We can just make that anyone who doesn’t submit in the timeframe, simply gets eliminated. (In previous WMs we couldn’t easily do that, cause they had (at least) one teammate who was still playing and relied on them to continue, but this time they wouldn’t bring anyone with them.)
Also I was thinking about the first 66% who pairs up (before the xth round) would advance. (Copying the original elimination rate.)
Everyone matching is an issue. (I want to talk about that one in PMs, cuz I have quite a few ideas.)
Why are we going back to Cheese?
From Cheese
To Chess

Why cheese again?
