big mood
Oh hey. This time it didn’t exceed 100 posts! \o/
I want Arius to go with the team, but it simply makes no sense for him to go with the team.
All of this… started because of that damn attack from Sten the Younger.
Arius got knocked-out immediately
→ He regained consciousness with 1 HP
→ Zone did not wish to risk going with the party with only 1 HP, and chasing after them after recuperating from unconsciousness made even less sense
→ Arius has zero participation in Kamilla’s capture
→ Zero reasons to be offered to work for the baron
Like, sure Arius could’ve had stayed silent and gone along with the flow, get some money, equipment, or whatever. However. Whenever one thinks about why he was in this barony to begin with… It just makes no sense –well, okay. It could make sense if you think of Arius as a jackass who made an empty promise with a father to help out his daughter, only to completely abandon the family afterwards –but I ain’t doing that!
based on the answers, Wanderer probably thinks that most of the behavior exhibited by Baron Dalin is due to the south situation
Note to self:
Visit Sten the Younger and inform him (and Kamilla if she’s nearby) about this matter after the baron has finalized the result of his proposal.
That was very well played
almost everything like this has a solution if you just think of it
baron rodin: I will ask for leniency on this case as the defendant is a 27 year old woman, and is too young to have been fully aware of her actions.
also baron rodin: hey 16 year old drakor and 18 year old canary you wanna go on a dangerous spy mission?
16 year old drakor
Wut?
he’s sixteen
I think it has something to do how different races are decided to be mature at different ages – I.E it would be normal for a halfling to be a father at 13
Right. Fantasy.
I can’t believe that I of all people was the one who got culture shocked.
(That’s because we Zones learned “morals” throughout the years.)
Dang, do I have to unlearn morals as well?
(…for legal reasons, this entire post is a joke.)
(In fairness, Drakor has not told anyone his age)
(but then again I’m not squirrel and I don’t know if he would know that)
(…nor do I know if I’m actually right I’m just fairly sure based off of things outside paizocanon)
(canary’s pretty sure he’s on the younger side but considering her own age she’s not making a fuss about that, plus she actively views him as a little competent (…in some things.))
(You’re correct)
(As far as I could tell half orcs mature roughly 1-5 years faster than humans - Age - Rules - Archives of Nethys: Pathfinder RPG Database)
(Since maturity is 1 yr ahead but middle age is 5)
(So he’s probably around 17-18 human years? But he’s also been taking on responsibilities for his village that we would say should be reserved for adults)
nyeh
“You look…”
She suddenly stops, then turns to try and make out his figure behind the mask.
“…Pretty… young for that. Being a mercenary or-”
{Ah.}
“…Uhm.”
(Drakor is also somewhat socially awkward and hides it by speaking slowly and using fancier words)
(Which might make him seem older? Dunno)
If there is I forgor
…Aren’t they forgetting to ask something?
I stay silent.
