(hey don’t be harsh on yourself. drakor is at least 10 cha in my heart.)
Paprika’s headstrong trait is no problem because she’s hanging out with somebody who doesn’t argue back
when a spell lists a race or something in paraphrases next to the classes who can use it, does it mean only that race can use it?
see: Urban Grace - Spells - Archives of Nethys: Pathfinder RPG Database
So, the rules here are kind of… “ambiguous” is not exactly the right word, but I don’t have one that’s better. Basically, the rules around racial spells specify that some racial spells are actually specific to a race, while others are just that race’s closely-guarded secrets, but they generally don’t, uh, say which is which
in most cases though I think it makes more sense to say that species-specific spells are actually tied to that species, like, there’s no reason why half-elves would randomly be like “we are keeping the spell Urban Grace secret from everyone else”
“including our parents, I guess”
“for no reason”
she asked for the jewellry so she could Make Herself Useful by selling it for a profit and giving that sum back
Myth of Sisyphus but it’s two people pushing the boulder on opposite sides
I did choose not to do the sense motive check on the jeweler bc I already was told approximate information on what Rika thinks his motive is, so I was like well it’s redundant I don’t wanna do checks every 5 seconds, which I probably should not have neglected
(there’s two threeish fairly obvious decent to good options in that pool and if one of you fails to select one of them you’re being sent to room with the gorumites)
(Drakor is a cheapstake who does not fear the plague)
(But he would also like to stay with the group)
What are they gonna do
Cast spells
oh? the group? what group? the gorumites?
checks in
oh my god bro
originally when i said two i forgot about the auberge (which canary ultimately suggested). canary is being sent to room with the gorumites.
. . .
Hey, I might need another recap.
We’re in Hazel Ford, but the mission is to learn about the baron’s odd behaviors, right? The baron that is further east of Hazel Ford? We don’t just “investigate”, we actually need to find proof for what I assume is a very blatant war, right?
Was that our mission, or was there some detail I have forgotten? Because I am starting to second-guess myself, thinking there is some extra overarching plot behind the obviously-upcoming war; something beyond mere discrimination and power grab.
Hazel Ford is outside Dalin’s territory, which makes it significantly safer to start an investigation there
further north
right now i think we’re trying to find some evidence on why he keeps disappearing, and we’re starting in hazel ford for reasons geyde stated (and that it was the biggest hub closest to us)
Wdym “keeps disappearing”?
