the line implies zasha isn’t actually a part of the cult yet, and if she knows of it the guard didn’t know that
The spell can hear the past
That was not mentioned anywhere, so unless Arete says otherwise, I cannot believe your statement.
When it was cast on Paprika, Wanderer heard the past
I need to double-check that, but for now: Fair enough.
i’m unsure this statement is true? the people who are cousins is the baron of this lands and the lord-mayor
Oh yeah. I read it wrong.
…oh well. I ain’t going to retract Arius’ words.
Surely “the ruler of these lands” also has some intel on Baron Dalin? (Otherwise we should GTFO and book northwards to the baron’s territory.)
mhm. I think that’s the main theory Rika and maybe others? were going off on
*reads my own post (P#6824 in main thread)*
Hm… Actually, would this make sense?
Would a baron of considerable (political) power be part of a cult of which its influence has spread all the way south of his own territory?
…no, yeah. That is very much still possible.
Highkey just sidequesting
Basically you’d need to hard push the angle that the guard are a risk even though they actually aren’t to talk to the Lord Mayor
Which is the play so ig lol
Gonna be busy until pretty late
Drakor is very annoyed
Partially because of all the arguing, partially because he had to go to three different places to find the group, partially because he wasted time tracking footsteps to Rafau’s house, and partially because he was stabbed
He is not having a good day
Unlikely to be active today
Oh whoops Paprika is supposed to have Alertness when her cat is nearby…
She’s suppose to have +2 to perception and sense motive
“pwease dont hit me im just a smol bean”
Yeah, that’s pretty much what I think.
–also, I didn’t realize my nature is more in sync with Arius when it comes to Chaotic Neutral; Zone -for this instance- doesn’t care about authorities and procedures. Law be damned if following the rules results in letting the cultists be.
(Side note)
Zone -IRL- has a strong hatred against cultists for inexplicable reasons. (I believe I have only mentioned this once as a commentary when playing Z.A.T.O.)
Frankly, it’s rather an oddity that this hatred didn’t trigger until now. Maybe because they are “cultists” in name, and because neither Arius nor Zone have actually encountered a proper cultist in-game?
why do lvl2 spells have to be soooo much more entertaining
