this is a bit of an exaggeration because it assumes all of the towns are equally distant (and that “last town before hazel ford” still means it is relatively close, but it is a little funny to think of how big of lunatics the 4 pcs are for running and tracking and whatever that whole way in 4 hours)
Meanwhile, Atlas’ opinion on Arius -the only one who didn’t chase after Kamilla-:
-it is possible I expressed this point badly at some point but it’s ~1.5-2 days round trip, not in each direction
(you also were hustling for only part of the time)
(boo we made standard time!!)
(faster than standard, slower than double pace the whole way)
(we made faster than standard but slower than double pace time!!)
(u guys were running like that jockey from jojo steel ball run who runs instead of rides horse)
(don’t tell anyone but i was thinking about that a solid 15% of the time)
We had to solve the mystery
i really do want to interrogate the lady when she wakes but unfortunately for me canary is So Done and also not that interested
Drakor thinks there’s a (small) chance she was framed
though he’s not feeling especially charitable given the whole stabbing thing
which is funny to think about considering she tracked some of the trails, thought incredibly hard about who’s footsteps it could be, traced the source of the fabric, went faster than medium but slower than fast pace for 4 hours, broke into someone’s home, then shot the killer
very dedicated for someone who Does Not Care
she has her (very odd) reasons!
…have we ever established what for pattern this hankerchief has?
(It sure would be a darn shame if this entire ordeal was a giant red herring caused by a misfortunate daughter and an overprotective father.)
alright i’m bored fun canary fact
the reason she never mentioned Yana is by the time the two of them were put face to face in competition for who the killer would be, canary thought kamilla was by far the most likely.
if this is somehow a red herring then lmao I don’t actually know how I’d defend it
(Drakor is suspicious that it’s a red herring but also)
(stabbing people he knows isn’t exactly going to endear the suspect to him)
(hey! the suspect didn’t stab anyone! that was the guy!)
