it’s not that guns don’t exist - it’s that you nominally only really find them in Ustalav, Tian Xia and Alkenstar

@Arete, I am considering Grease and/or Enlarge Person on my Spellbook, but the former requires butter and the latter requires powdered iron. I don’t see these written anywhere on AoN’s website. Assuming I don’t have Eschew Materials, how much are the expected costs of these materials?

I already have that. It says: “except for components that have a specific cost”, and both Grease and Enlarge Person specifically mentions… No cost on those items.

…wait, how does Spell Combat work if I want to swing my scimitar and cast a touch-spell like Frostbite? Do I roll two attack rolls for both attacks individually? If so, would it be possible to deliver the Frostbite by punching my enemy (considering I would be wearing a Spiked Gauntlet), or do I really have to use my bare hands for it?

–speaking of punching my enemies, would I still be giving my enemies opportunity attacks if I were to attack them with the hand that is equipped with a Spiked Gauntlet?

–also, once I get access to Spellstrike, is there really any point in using Spell Combat anymore if I were to only use touch-based spells? (I know I can use Spell Combat for things like “melee attack + Shield spell”, but I am currently asking this question solely in the context of attacking my enemies.)

–by the way, would you allow me to have Deivon’s Parry on my Spellbook?
