Arius gives thanks to the cleric of Pharasma.

((Well this is awkward. I missed out on a small RP scenario, which… I have mixed feelings about. Gun-to-head though, I suppose I am relieved about the skip, for various reasons.))

Not long after the scream, the mercenary rushes downstairs after donning his scale mail, just behind the hammer-wielding half-orc.

(does the previous town have an inn?)

You get the visible impression Canary is scared of sleeping anywhere but her own bed, and each level of downgrade to that would terrify her more. Although, based off the spell she had cast on herself twenty or so minutes ago, she would be more useful than most people in barn repairs, despite the fact she’d probably be scared of that too.

She doesn’t actually voice any of her feelings, however, instead staying completely silent.

(as in, sleeping in her own bed>sleeping in a inn>sleeping in another person’s home>camping>sleeping in essentially the open in a dirty place>sleeping in the wilderness)

“Thank you.” Zelsh told Agneta gratefully, feeling a lot better even if he still felt a bit weak.

“The barn will probably have to do. I don’t mind, it beats having to travel back in the dark.”

“Plus, it’s certainly not the worst I’ve had to deal with.”

Drakor shrugged. “I brought my kit, so I am strongly ambivalent regarding our quarters.”

(in Granite Hill:)

When you make it downstairs, you see Yamyra running out of the inn’s pantry. “The food, it’s ruined! And there were horrible creatures, four of them, I’ve never seen anything like them—”

Wanderer will determine what needs to be done with the barn repairs. It’s clear he’s doing this to get his mind off of the difficult decision.

(I don’t imagine this is complicated enough to be a check)

“Yamyra, could you perhaps describe these creatures? Were they something like rats, perhaps?” As Arius asks that, he tries to see the damage on the food to determine what kind of creatures they might be.

((Perception check? +1 modifier.))

“Yeah. Zelsh can take care of whatever creatures did this.” Zelsh boasted confidently to Yamyra.

“I LONG FOR COMBAT! You. Come with me. NOW!” Bugibugi says to Orc and Man behind him.

(I suggest the three of us enter the pantry at the same time)

(I was thinking the same thing.)

“Yes. The three of us working together is a good idea. Zelsh’s name is Zelsh.” Zelsh replied to Bugibugi.

((Oh, heck no. Arius will try to identify the creatures first based on Yamyra’s answers.))

((…unless the damaged food is in the pantry, in which case Arius might join Bugibugi out of impulse, thinking that Yamyra will be able to answer as the party enters the pantry.))

“…Arius,” the human briefly replies.
