He nods, continuing to cry.
“I am not stealing it. That’d be mean.”
“What is she saying?” Drakor asked. “Take your time.”

Yes, but the information you can discern will be much less specific than the information you could get if you were speaking the same language
Canary sniffles.
(tell me when an appropriate time for casting to be finished is concluded)
He swallows. “She wanted to know if you were stealing part of the cart. And earlier she wanted me to tell you that she couldn’t hear you.”
(He seems to be being basically honest, although not fully comprehensive about all the prior details of the conversation)

Drakor nodded. “That is reasonable. I believe she-” he pointed at Canary- “-is trying to use magic to fix it. We would not have much use for only part of a cart, but your concern is warra- er, makes sense.”
He frowned. “Did you get all of that? Let me know if I should repeat anything.”
It seems like the boy is translating it mostly accurately, and (considering that you could easily rob them if you wanted to!) she does seem to be genuinely concerned about that possibility (although less about just the linchpin, more about the fabric). But thinking about the earlier part of the conversation, it seems like she was definitely also trying to communicate to him that she’s annoyed about him not managing to stop crying for long enough to give a useful explanation.
(They exchange some more gestures)
“She has been blessed by the gods with the power to fix it?” says the boy.
Canary is visibly uncomfortable being talked about.
Drakor shrugged. “I do not know the nature of her spells. But I’ve seen her magically clean things, so I would think that fixing a wheel is not that different.”
(It totally is, but he views magic as, well, magic)
This descriptor miffs her a little bit.
Moreso the fact that his first description of her spells was ‘she cleans things’ versus ‘she enchants coins into [bullets]’.
He nods. “Th- thank you.”
