(It was the most recent spell he saw her cast!)
(Also, turning coins into bullets would probably make the kids worried about turning their wagon into a bullet)

Drakor glanced around the surrounding area again before resuming the conversation. “Could you tell me why you are traveling alone?”
(Has the spell gone through yet)
I’m unsure why you’re arguing with me. Maybe try yelling at Canary infront of children for her thoughts?
(not yet)
(could canary cast another spell in the middle of channeling one? i assume the answer is nein, but)
“Papa says we’re too little to push the plow, but we can still be helpful by bringing the cloth to sell.”
(no)
Wanderer will cast Create Water a couple times off the side of the road out of boredom.
Now the side of the road is wet
Canary is thinking about something unimportant.
Eventually, the ten minute casting time finishes! Now you have an intact linchpin.
Canary holds it out for the Wanderer to… fix the cart with.
He does so
“You might benefit by carrying a bit yourselves. But otherwise, good luck!”
Wanderer proceeds.
(More signs)
“She says, may the path ahead be smooth!”
4, 3
Drakor waved. “Be careful. May Desna guide your path.”
You have to take a few breaks over the course of the trip to give Pepper a chance to rest, but the rest of the trip back to Granite Hill is smooth. You do cross paths with an itinerant peddler heading east (accompanied by armed guards to protect his wares from bandits and/or monsters), but basically everything he has for sale is also available in the general store in Granite Hill, and his prices are rather steep. Eventually, you make it to the fields surrounding Granite Hill, and then to the village itself.
