Canary… gets off the horse and… starts to keep her distance by a significant margin.
Wanderer works with those willing to get Kamilla over to a militia member.
Canary is thinking about something unimportant.
Drakor waited for Canary to get off, then began guiding the horse back to Tamila’s farm. “You going to be okay?” He asked as he began walking.
…
“I think I need to show my face at home. After… Kamilla is delivered.”
The easiest one to find is Leta, who’s currently being tailed by Nyna Kaver. Leta’s tense expression shifts to relief as she catches sight of you. “Glad you were able to catch up with her.”
“That’s her?” says Nyna indignantly. “She’s the one who murdered my husband?”
“You did not answer the question,” Drakor noted.
Canary looks at him, and then begins to sort of hide herself upon hearing the approaching individuals.
Drakor looked at the approaching militia and angry civilian. He raised his mask.
Wanderer isn’t happy to hear that. All the good vibes of helping people crushed in an instant. The tangle in his heart comes back.
He sighs.
“To my best understanding, yes.”
It’s delivered with all the enthusiasm of a veteran giving the bad news to the family.
“I, and the group that came with me, can give testimony on what I’ve observed. We believe, without a doubt, that she was the one who killed Messire Kaver. We believe that it was not out of self defense, but instead a planned killing done out of revenge for a perceived injustice done to her family. I personally do not believe she intends to kill again. Her exact motives…I’ll let her speak on her behalf.”
It felt like throwing up. Necessary, but putrid.
As if she’s sensed something about your attitude, if not any actual details , her face softens. “I mean no offense to you, honored priest. You have my gratitude for ensuring that my husband’s killer is brought to justice.”
“Of course.”
Drakor narrowed his eyes.
(Studied target on Nyna)

Canary’s breathing hitches. She starts to almost look… concerned.
“…What?” Nyna sounds genuinely baffled. “My husband isn’t some kind of murderer .”
“Is it really so different to order someone hung—”
“—Yes, that’s completely different—”
“—over an accident, Kaver called it murder but—”
“—My husband was an honorable man! He wouldn’t falsify charges!”
Kamilla glares at her.
She rubs her palm with her finger.
It’s hard for you to tell whether Nyna’s being sincere. She’s certainly upset with Kamilla over her husband’s death, that much is obvious to anyone, but the specifics could go either way.
