[RP] Play-By-Post Pathfinder

I nod. I… don’t think being a dragon would be fulfilling, though.

“Some kind of creepy mouth,” says the younger one.

“A fanged mouth with lava,” says the older one at the same time.

The older one shakes his head. “We’ve got too much to do with the Watch,” he says.

“Lava?” Drakor asked. “How can you tell it’s lava?”

Eventually, your spell is complete, and the kid’s trousers return to their previous state. “Thank you!” he says. “You’re the bestest!”

“…” I don’t know how to respond. I continue pushing in silence.

“Context,” says the older one, as if this makes perfect sense.

“What sort of context?” Drakor asked. “Was there a volcano?”

You can’t find traces of what was previously there, but the wall seems slightly damp; you’d guess that the paint was removed with water, not with magic, though whoever removed it must have been pretty thorough.

“Why, what a coincidence! We also happen to be busy with our investigations.” Arius grinds his teeth as he bares his smile.

“Well! I suppose there is just… nothing to be done about the… clearly abnormal entities that could potentially endanger this town, because… everyone just happens to be busy!”

((Passive-aggressivity 100))

“Smart.”

He’s looking at the wall.

“Well, it wasn’t just the symbol,” says the older one. “It was also the ashes. Everything lines up perfectly with the worship of Flauros, and his symbol is a fanged mouth with lava.”

Does the ground around appear to have been wiped down to avoid tracks?

“It’ll probably be fine,” says the younger one. “I mean, the hospital is boarded up for a reason! No one’s just going to wander in there and get hurt. And I heard there were some sort of rituals or something too, to make it more secure.”

Yes (assuming you’re asking about the ground in the cellar), it seems like the cellar floor was scrubbed clean as well.

“Flauros?” Drakor asked. “Aside from this, have Flauros worshippers been active?”

“Everything’s scrubbed clean using mundane methods. Professional cleanup job. Impressive.”

Arius squints his eyes upon hearing the last part. This one… really does not need a genius to figure it out.

“…hypothetically speaking, if there were hostile entities who have the capability to turn themselves into gas were to enter the abandoned hospital without making any signs of tresspassing, how long would this ‘ritual’ last before it gets disrupted?”
