“Hey, there he is!” says the first guard, pointing at someone currently exiting the temple. “Guess they let him go.”

Zelsh left along wigh Wanderer after pocketing his 5 crown share.

As you all leave, you see Drakor and Arius speaking to some guards outside the nearby courthouse.

Where would you all like to go next/is there anything else you want to do before rendezvousing with Canary?

Wanderer dusts himself off.

“Does anyone know much about the list of names we got?”

Drakor thanked the guards and rejoined the group.

“It would be nice if he meant bastard in the literal sense of the word, because that’d make finding the mole easy comparatively. At the same time…” He shrugs.

To those who weren’t there, he’ll explain its significance and rattle off the names.

Drakor frowned. “So… he was being paid off by the cult?”

Zelsh gave Drakor and Arius their 5 crown part of the prize now before explaining everything to them. (Heading to bed now so good night everyonr. Zelsh will stay with the group now although if the group ends up spliting up, Zelsh will go wigh Drakor. :sleepingleafeon:)

“Tiberi’s a farrier’s assistant and lost money on a scam. Seems like a repeat customer. Bogdan’s a glassblower who lost family to plague. Dosia’s supposed to be a sorcerer: maybe Flauros finally taught her a real spell.”

“Mhm. It would be ideal if we found the person who leaked the information. Even if they didn’t do it to sabotage, understanding why they did it could help bring everything else down.”

Drakor nodded his thanks.

((How much would this be…? Is it straight-up 5 crowns?))

“Okay, it’s amazing that you have apprehended a corrupt guard who aided a cult, but do we have any leads as to whether this cult is related to the baron or not?” Arius asks.

“If we can talk to somebody important about this, we can get an in with them. It’s how you got this mission in the first place: catching a criminal.”

Since she was uncuffed, Paprika began fixing her hair.

Wanderer mentally debates discussing the baron. Hazel Ford is mostly a bust on that front, but going directly to Dalin’s lands…

The feeling isn’t right.

Good. Someone else made the argument for him.

(That is not how it happened at all, but okay.)

“Look, I don’t mind if you want to race against the local non-Watch authorities to apprehend [the cultist members that you recognize] to get some extra pocket money,” Arius says with a deadpan face, “but if these cult members are completely unrelated to our target, then we ought to search for alternative methods to our investigation.”
