[RP] Play-By-Post Pathfinder

Drakor carefully placed the scrap of fabric into his belt pouch, then followed to the general store.

((I’m inclined to pause here for the night so that Amelia and/or Geyde can have the opportunity to follow your characters if they feel like it, since they were both in the same general area))

“When we get there… go up to the counter and just tell her you’re wondering who has bought that material. Make up an excuse, or… if you think she’ll see through you, don’t. Just. Get an answer…”

“Please.”

(sounds good, we’re at a fairly dramatic cliffhanger)

(left spider, right spider)

@Leafia when you get the chance roll for damage against the webbing (just a regular damage roll)

You sneak up to the web and bring down your sword, slashing at the webbing. But as you do, the spider on the right swivels towards you, eight eyes blinking at you. You’ve been spotted!

mechanics

the spider was taking penalties before to its perception from distance + tree cover, but you’re close enough now that it beat your stealth check (the other spider still hasn’t noticed you)

Since you and Spider 1 (the one on the right) are aware of each other, and Spider 2 is not, only you and Spider 1 will be able to act in the surprise round; each of you will be able to take a move action or a standard action, but not both.

Initiative:
Spider 1 (currently on the right)
Spider 2
Zelsh

(web attack vs. touch AC)

:game_die: 4

Wanderer will go to the granitehill and look around, taking 10 for a 15 perception
Also look for tracks if possible

The spider launches webbing at Zelsh, but its aim is clearly poor; the webbing flies past Zelsh’s head, sticking to a nearby tree.

mechanics

The spider rolled a 4, +5 for 9 total. This is a touch attack, so it targets “touch AC” rather than regular AC (which is higher), but Zelsh has a touch AC of 12, so the attack misses.
