Rules:

1. Follow the Forum Game Rules.
2. Post a minimum of 10 game related posts per active phase.
3. Fail to heed the former rules more than twice, and you will be subbed out or modkilled.
4. I can and might have to add and/or remove rules in the future. Except the first rule.
   Let’s just hope that I won’t have to use this rule.

General Mechanics

• This is an open setup: There are 7 Town Point Vendors, 2 Town Roleblocking Point Vendors, 2 Mafia Roleblocking Point Vendors and 1 NPC Broadcaster. The NPC does not count as a player for anything other than an option to be visited at night phase.
• Day Phases last 48 hours. Night Phases last 24 hours.
• All actions must be submitted in your role cards / role PMs.
• Mafia members may communicate with each other through Discord during both phases.
• Factional attacks are mandatory and not assigned.
• Multitasking, i.e. using multiple abilities on the same phase, is allowed.
• The host will announce when XYLO occurs.
• The game starts when the player list is fully filled.

Special Mechanics

• At the start of the day, everyone will be informed how many points they have in their Role PM, and everyone will be informed of each others’ vote weight in public.
• For every N points, players will gain one additional public vote weight, where N equals [half of all living players, rounded up].
• At the end of the day, everyone’s points will be reset.

Roles

You are a [Town] Point Vendor

Active: Grant Points
Each night, you may visit another player and give them two points. This ability is locked at XYLO.

You win when all threats have been completely eliminated, and when at least 1 Town member is still alive.

You are a [Town] Roleblocking Point Vendor

Active: Roleblocker
Each night, you may visit another player and prevent them from performing their action successfully.

Active: Grant Points
Each night, you may visit another player and give them two points. This ability is locked at XYLO.

You win when all threats have been completely eliminated, and when at least 1 Town member is still alive.

You are a [Mafia] Roleblocking Point Vendor

Active: Roleblocker
Each night, you may visit another player and prevent them from performing their action successfully.

Active: Grant Points
Each night, you may visit another player and give them two points. This ability is locked at XYLO.

You win when all Town members have been completely eliminated, or when nothing prevents this from happening.

You are a [Neutral] Broadcaster

Passive: Broadcast
For every player who has visited you, you will grant all players one point.
Upon being roleblocked, you will not grant any points to anyone.
After being roleblocked, you will be immune from getting roleblocked on the following night.

You are an NPC. You can never win, and you will die at XYLO.

Vote Mechanics

• Use the latest voting format.
• (Only) Plurality: Whoever has the most votes at the end of a phase will die.
• [No Exe] is a valid vote.
• In case of a tie, the player within the tie with the most points will be executed.
  –unless [No Exe] is also tied, in which case [No Exe] will take priority.
• Self-votes are considered valid votes.
• Votes are locked in XYLO scenarios.

But imo u can keep it an npc if its not supposed to be a fully fledged slot and accept a player (me) signing as npc pre-emptively :3

Players can only vote players out, and in this sense the NPC does not count as a player.

No, you cannot play as the Non-Playable Character. It’s literally in the name.

Everyone can either give another player 2 points or visit the NPC to give everyone 1 point.

NPC exists until XYLO. It cannot be executed, and other than this feature, the game is basically an overglorified 9v2 Vanilla with occassional doublevoters.

I mean, technically it is not impossible for everyone to become a doublevoter or even triplevoter if they all visit the NPC, but that is the players’ choice and responsibility.
