Author’s note: I get the sense that Project Moon w!Ishmael was overwhelmed in a way that Beatings II w!Ishmael was, so the former lacks a lot of the assertiveness that she has in Beatings and the current game. Still useful context to have, hence its inclusion here.
Also note that some of the Beatings posts come from when Ishmael is drunk. I don’t think it changes her strategy all too much, but it’s worth noting contextually.
Project Moon
I’m more inclined to see Ishmael this game as being in line with their t!Ishmael posting.
Her evaluation of Shending in #302 specifically feels very similar to her Creature evaluation in Wrogn 2. I also think her responses to Shending and YBW have been in line tone-wise with her D2 opener for Ice Cream Mafia II (there’s probably also a contrast to her pushing back on Gummy townreading her during Project Moon, even if that was a townread and this a scumread), and I think that approach of building a pairing has similarities with her approach to Creature.
There’s a good post from Beatings II where Zone calls w!Ishmael out for not being proactive about her reads, not trying to have them change the outcome of the game, and I think that’s a good summarization of the difference between t!Ishmael and w!Ishmael.
I think that Ishmael in this game has made that effort to convince people to listen to her reads, even if those reads are largely gutshots. Consequently, I think she’s town.

random thought before I forget: if we think there’s a masonizer at play, and I believe they are typically weak, then I think it could be a good idea to ask people to do the pr cover thing before eod in case they die in the night without a clear target. I think the main drawback is a possible nk on someone to frame, but if enough people do it, it would lower the chances, at least n1? the other rough thing is if the hypothetical masonizer changes their mind during the night, but surely not…
well if the nk happens to hit them, it might be evident bc there would only be one death, but maybe wolves have an extra kill in this setup I’m not good at the balance aspect of mech spec (@ willow, thoughts?)

okay honestly let’s see if anything changes bc willow wagon is not going anywhere right now, and eod is so soon, and I refuse to believe the mafia are all the inactives, but like. I don’t really like the shending or ishmael wagons as much after all

I’m honored. Redditor comment is not only about the microanalyzing but also the tone of his posts – sorta performative. Def getting the same feeling in this game, from like the same posts I see Ishmael reacting 2. Redditor-like is perhaps not the best way to describe it but I see fedora-tipping when reading.
Regarding ur second point, I thought long and hard about how to describe it but guess I didn’t succeed. Ill try again: If Shending is wolf, and he writes a post like the one Alexis was referring to, about him probably being absent later on… Then he could not possibly post it without knowing how it would sound. Like at least it’s not a “mistake”. Aight this didn’t feel much clearer even 2 me but maybe this is what u would call twtbaw?

Nows the time when i should reveal im actually still super paranoid about shending bc he rly is that good n could theoretically be faking a lot of the towny stuff here. It has to be said.

But i have this wall right, cus i wrote down pretty much everything that came to mind when reading thru the game and im very sorry but i have no time to pick out whats worth saying or um even translating properly today. No idea why i dit it this way. But im thinking better to post it than not, and let shending use it as my legacy if i dont get the opportunity to post a better summary of my thoughts tomorrow.
