Rules

  • Follow the Global Rules
  • Follow the Forum Game Rules
  • All players must make 10 substantive and game-related posts per Day phase. This may be waived if the day ends early. If a player does not meet this requirement, and does not give the hosts proper warning, they will be force-replaced.
  • All alts must be approved by the hosts.
  • The hosts may use WOTM to prohibit players from joining. They will be informed privately if they attempt to join.
  • The hosts may add or remove any rules at any time as they wish.

Open Information

  • All Wolves are Lost Wolves, they are aware of each others transmission codes, names, and the roles associated with them, but lack a dedicated factional chat. Three of them are present
  • The Vanilla Town rolecard is public
  • Days are 48 hours, Nights are 24 hours
  • The Town Wiretapper role (See Below) is guaranteed to be in the game
  • The text of the Wolves’ factional ability is public

Factional Details

Each night you may attempt to kill target player. If you and at least one other Lost Wolf are alive and you, and both you and at least one other Lost Wolf target the same player, that player will be killed. If you are the only Lost Wolf alive, you kill the targeted player. The kill will be carried by the last player to submit this action on the targeted player. If no Lost Wolf submits this action or if multiple Lost Wolves submit with all unique targets, a randomly chosen Lost Wolf will kill a randomly chosen player ( if a target is chosen this way, a Lost Wolf other than the carrier may be killed. )

Each player has a unique transmission code e.g. a player named Alex may have the code “07” and Bob may have the code “08”. By default, each player only knows their own code, but here is a list of all codes in the game:

Text

A text is a privately transmitted message submitted to the Host that will be delivered to a player recipient. The text received by the recipient will be unmodified except the sender’s name will be replaced by their transmission code e.g. if Alice (07) sends Bob (08) a text, Bob will receive a text from “07” rather than “Alice”. A text may only contain words, may not contain more than 20 words, and may not contain more than 125 characters. Each text must contain exactly 1 (one) name of living player; no more, no less. Player names are always considered to be 1 word, but its characters are counted as usual. This name may be your own. Each player may send 1 (one) text to another living player during each Night unless otherwise stated.

Page

A page is a privately transmitted message submitted to the Host that will be delivered to a transmission code recipient. The page received by the recipient will be addressed from the sending transmission code e.g. if Alice (07) sends Bob (08) a page, Bob will receive a page from “07” rather than “Alice”. A page may contain exactly 1 (one) name of a living player, and nothing else. This name may be your own.

Wiretappers

Messages may be intercepted by a Wiretapper . The following role is guaranteed to exist:

Passive
At the beginning of each Day other than the first, you intercept a message sent during the previous Night is randomly chosen from a randomly chosen pair of players who sent at least one message during the previous Night. You learn the transmission codes of the sender and recipient of the chosen message, and the player name included in that message. (You can intercept both texts and pages, but will only ever receive the player name and no other content.)
(Example: Alice (07) sends Bob (08) the text: “Charlie is lock wolf for missing EoD.” That text would be intercepted as “Sender: 07; Recipient: 08; Charlie.” Alice (07) sends Bob (08) the page: “Charlie”. That page would be intercepted as “Sender: 07; Recipient: 08; Charlie.”)

I turned down the invitational from Luka because I’m full from mafia. I had to carry Luka’s corpse the entire game so I’m exhausted
