Grande Idea - Endgame - Mafia wins

Kinda spinning my wheels in the dirt, so I’ll just throw out what I’ve got and hope we all get into a fight like the P!NK song.

  • Gummy feels mildly wolfy. She’s less mellow than her town performance in Beatings and seems closer to her wolf performance in the QBCord HSR Mafia, where she seemed far more assured in herself. Notably, her pushing to kill meow (jokingly, I’m aware) and her saying that “Jason seems very towny” feel like a sharp departure from her hesitance to make any sort of a read in Beatings.
  • Jason jumping straight into analyzing and dissecting is town-indicative. w!Jason tends to fluff post a bit early on and sit on the sidelines, in strong contrast to him attempting to take point from get-go in his town games.
  • Upon backreading meow’s games, one of the things that stands out to me is that w!meow encourages other people’s pushes D1 while t!meow seems to hesitate on pushing people. Difference between “I forgot [player] is always a comfortable d1 vote” and “doesnt necessarily mean [player] is anti-town”. I don’t really know how to parse which is the case here, but I still stand by my townlean case from earlier, and #141 rereads as paranoid in a specifically towny way.
  • Carbon’s always opened with “GOOD MORNING MAFIA” in every game she’s been mafia in and never opened with it in any game she’s been town in. Get her!
  • More seriously regarding Carbon, she feels lower-energy compared to her mafia games, where she feels a need D1 to be in thread and constantly posting about something or the other. Townlean.
  • Willow should have more towngames where she doesn’t die in under 10 posts. Closest thing I have are her Loop games, one of which is somewhat muddied by her hardclaiming fakeclaiming Detective from the word go. That said, from what I can tell, D1 + D2 t!Willow feels very reactive to immediate stimuli, focusing on the immediate threadstate and vibing versus w!Willow attempting to prove herself as useful. In a sense, I’m conceding that Jason’s read on Willow is correct: w!Willow feels a pressure to be useful in a way that t!Willow does not appear to. As such, townlean.

what does LAMIST stand for again? gummy has been more inactive than I expected but her boyfriend is over or something right so real life > mafia

Look At Me, I’m So Town.

I thought you were referring to yourself here and was like hmmm I guess so, and then I reprocessed
I think this could just be bc gummy hasn’t really been around? also she does that more when she’s getting pushed or trying to push someone vs when the attention isn’t on her at all I think

for what it’s worth, I agree with this part, and it’s why I have like zero willow vibereads, but I’ve also never been very good at this entire “carefree tone” analysis stuff

I guess, but, like, t!Gummy is terrified of being wrong while w!Gummy is bound by no such obligations.

Mafia Gummy was yelling up and down the streets about me purportedly scumslipping D1 in HSR Mafia while town Gummy posts like this D1:

why is this wording so funny, sorry you’re going to have to deal with me commenting this constantly without access to  reacts

I think there isn’t much to go off to make a gummy read at the moment? like she advocated killing me, but I’m not really taking it as a serious push since she didn’t follow it up with anything (yet?), and admittedly “kill meow kill meow” has a fun ring to it.

…all this to say that I’m not particularly suspicious of anyone now (and disclaimer: I don’t really. push. people generally unless there’s mechstuff, so you might deal with this all game mafia please just kill me)

ash posting is not raising any uncomfortable flags for me what it’s worth (maybe this is because he is townreading me).

the main issue is that this has historically been an unreliable indicator of his alignment for me since I haven’t played with mafia ash in a very long time, and the last time I sussed ash d1 he was town (so maybe I should be concerned?? but agree that the posting hasn’t felt super agenda-y like he didn’t have to townread marluna that hard; it’s what made me more comfortable with it too).

er, in general, my d1 reads are usually wrong, but it might be different in a 48 hour day situation where you guys actually vote someone out…I will try to do a tierlist later.

There’s also her almost-immediate strong townread on Jason, but we’ll put that aside for the moment.
The way I’m looking at it is that Gummy feels significantly more energetic there than her town games, where she feels almost overwhelmed. Beatings’ D1 has her constantly feel like she’s drowning, and she makes reads as a means of attempting to handling that situation without feeling a need to prove herself as town.
This game feels entirely different from that. Imo, t!Gummy would be too focused on trying to solve for things and would be trying to get people to post more so she can make reads off them. w!Gummy, by contrast, has no such need for stability and as such is far more comfortable doing chicanery like “kill kill meow”.

Does all that make sense?

Hm i thought daeron was onto something w their ash wolfread but ash responded really well imo

Jason, hit me with some thoughts.

man all this is just telling me I have to backread
…I will do it at some point, I was going to have to reread carbon/gummy anyway

Could you explain this read? I’m having trouble reading them since they only have 6 posts

I think it’s good that we’re starting to form a poe. Meow and willow should never be the execution d1.

I just realized that gummy has been kinda flying under the radar for me personally bc she hasn’t really been solving or posting that much so none of her posts have pinged me.

@iamagummybear, give us reads or we call up Team Cherry and tell them to cancel the Silksong DLCs.

Thinking a townlean on Zoe for specifically #38, which means that I have likely miscleared one of meow/Willow/Jason/Carbon.
Problems for future me.

Why do you think you may have miscleared?

wait thanks for finding that, I noted it and forgot about it (zoe moves up half a tier)
