Sten got fined for assault (paid out to his victims, theoretically to compensate for lost labor/potential lost labor), and since your character was actually knocked unconscious, he had to pay extra much for you (three whole silver!)

edited some of my recent posts to more accurately reflect the character
(mainly just dropped the use of the word ranger in one because she doesn’t know what that. is. and changed this post around)

CMIIW: From what I understand, [if the wand’s spell is on your class’ spell list, then -disregarding level requirements- you can use it]. Otherwise, you’d need to have at least 1 rank in UMD before you roll the UMD check.
yeah it’s basically just “extracts technically aren’t spells 
” but I do have ranks in UMD so shrug

Did I make a mistake in my build, I wonder…
(Well. Maybe. Maybe not. IDK. Surely this ain’t the worst.)
I do naturally get cure light wounds in my extracts and with a wand I’d be able to use it on people that aren’t exactly myself (I don’t get another alchemical discovery until level 4 and kinda wanna spend that on Cognatogen so won’t be able to buff allies for a while)

An alchemist can utilize spell-trigger items if the spell appears on his formulae list, but not spell-completion items (unless he uses Use Magic Device to do so).
You can apparently use wands but not scrolls
you can also take the Extra Discovery feat at 3 if you want more discoveries
I must spam divination spells
